Eve is fun. Eve is more fun than any other game I could name and so we play it, some of us with multiple accounts, despite whatever annoyances exist in the actual gameplay mechanics.

One of the biggest reasons Eve is so much fun is that there are so many organizations, Goonswarm being just one of them, who are playing the game trying to see if their actions can have an impact on the game world on the whole. It doesn't matter if you're the guy leading things, a footsoldier out shooting at things or cleaning out markets, or just an unaffiliated guy making his way in an ever-changing world that every single player is molding in some way. This stuff is fun.

Heck it is fun sometimes to just follow what is going on from outside of the game.

CCP knows this. They know that they can offer a brand of fun that no other game can. The laws of the game that absolutely cannot be broken, those that are CCP policy, are enforced. The internal laws of the game are enforced by a realistically imperfect police force in the form of Concord. It is every bit as fun to try and commit in-game crimes around concord as it is to work them into your strategy to avoid becoming someones victim.

If anything, fun and meta-intrigue control Eve. I suspect that is no accident. To say the Goonswarm or any other player organization controls the game is crazy. Focus on having a good time instead.

The Mittani not only follows his Words about Metapolitics but , if you listen to the updates he uses the exact same Words.

And they work. The Mittani is no genious of some Kind. He just uses Machiavellian theorie in a Game.
I heavily suggest every Leader of a major Faction, Alliance or Corp to read those Books.

Learn those strategies and give your Thinktank time to counter it. If you don't have a Thinktank !!! Create one. !!!

you beat those personalities by simply ignoring them... as soon as they have nobody to talk to anymore, they start blowing themselves up... isolation is their biggest fear, thats why you only find them in groups

Anyway if you want to beat ~The Mittani~ it is very simple.

1. Get him drunk (this doesn't cost much)
2. Put him on stage

History has shown this is best way.

I did 28,000 shrapnel bomb damage to Mittaningrad once. And last night I got some Goons in local to listento the Zorba the Greek theme. Not much, I know, but it's a start.

Two years ago, Goons pointed out they were stock piling a war chest no alliance should ever have control of by manipulating the markets on Technetium.

Two years later, CCP moved the honey pot to Test space.

Want to defeat Goons? Defeat their enablers. When you lose your space, Reddit? Go play something else.
