Oh, that's easy. Just look at Dow Chemical or De Breers.

I suggest we shut them in the decontamination chamber.

Are you nuts? Do you have any idea how much a decontamination chamber costs?

...probably more than the development costs for making Origin, huh? Lol

If you used the RAPTR app you could get a free catalyst too, but you do not need to commit to price or anything for it.

It's what drew me into this game (RAPTR tracks xbox, pc, and psn games) and gives in game rewards for time played.

If true, I found it fitting that they offered a catalyst, a ship that's not particularly hard to come by, even for new players.

Did they label it 'Catalyst DLC' and charge $ 9.99 extra that go to EA?

I think the more glaring question from this thread is: why is EVE on the origin store?

I agree, very crazy. Are we certain EA didn't put a gun to his head? Threaten to kill family pets or cause other sorts of foul harm??

Never use Origin unless that's the only way to play the game. And it isn't in EVE's case.

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

So, less than a day after mocking it, I have Origin because of Humblebundle. X

It's like a disease. It infects you if you make fun of it.

To be fair, at least it isn't UPlay.

Sean Decker is about to disband the CCP Alliance, but thats what I shouldn't have told you... SHHHHH~!

It's a sign that not even EVE can't resist the Medusa of the Gaming Industry, CCP Hellmar is probably already a stone statue and replaced by a imposter!

Minus 50 DKP for typing the name of The Critin.exe who shall remain nameless (and purged from all systems).

As chriba (spelling it wrong so he doesn't get tweet bombed) already mentioned, its deactivated for new accounts. Stick around awhile and more everything will be delivered.

DAMNIT! the topic was not quarantined fast enough!

Its too late now, we are all done for.

We will all get Origin, unless we can fix an antidote FAST.

OK I have removed Origin, and reinstalled EVE without it. The only other Origin game I played was Need For Speed World, but I can play that without Origin as well. So I'm decontaminated. Steam only.

Well, they do offer cheapest ETC I can buy, and I can purchase it through website, no need to download their awful client...
