If you made a female character

Kery Nysell was my character in a Star Trek pen-and-paper RPG, based on Kyra Neris form the Deep Space Nine series.

I tend to like the challenge of correctly playing girls in RPGs ...

In other MMOs, I tend to play girls because when you have to look at an arse for long hours, it may as well be a nice arse.

I like girls and boobs.

Also, I'm a lesbian trapped in a man's body.

No regrets.

I make female characters so I have something to fwap over whilst in stations ofc...

No really I only have 1 and it was modelled after my Mrs, trying to convince her to play eve. She's into all that grinding crap from WoW so would be a great peon to fund my dastardly ingame habitsTwisted

Just boils down to how you play the game.

I have friends who enjoy creating a cool entity, separate from them as a player. Other people like like to imagine they are role playing as themselves in a fantasy world.

I'd also say specific to Eve, that I think scammers get more mileageLol out of pretending to be ladies.

You've been playing EvE for 6 years and gate camping is the best idea you can come up with? XD

No regrets from me. Reasons:

Female pilots provide better scenery while docked than male pilots or a ship.
Its different. All men would be boring.
Role play options.
One pilot is modeled after a character in a different computer game that I enjoyed.

Now: Are there any woman players who have made male pilots? And don't tell me there are no female eve players as there are three (that I know of) in my alliance, one being my sister.

only my cyno alts are male. Since i dont mind when they get podded ^^ otherwise i prefer to play my own gender thank you very much.

I made this female alt to be my capital character, for, well. I don't know what the reason was. What difference does it make?

Female characters are pretty in eve which is why all my alts are that.

During trial I alternated back and forth between male and female characters, it was mere coincidence that the one I liked most was female. If I remember right I tried Caldari first, then Gallente, then Amarr and finally Minmatar. I chose the Gallente for the background and the fact that I didn't like to tone of the intro missions given to the Caldari character. Minmatar was a close second but I didn't like the looks of their ships at all.

My first alt became female because I chose Achura for the better stat distribution that Achura had then (CHA 2!), and the male Achura all looked totally ridiculous to me.

For those that never seen a male achura, they were pretty hideous:

My only regret, is that CCP only allows you to make perfect women, and not ones that you see in RL (that often).

CCP, give us more Character Creator options!

You made a spaceship pilot and you're not a spaceship pilot in real life.

Why?

******* idiotic questions.

The first character I made was male. He was supposed to be me in space. Then I started mining so I wanted a hauler alt (extremely usefull back in the day). Since I already had a male character, that one became female. Additional toons are all female.

I normally only pIay female toons tho - in games such as The Elder Scrolls for example.
I'm male 24/7 and comply quite nicely with current society genderroles. So when I play a game I'd like to "escape a bit" and be a female character. Comparable with flying spaceships in a future alternate universe.

Everybody I play with knows I'm a guy. Even if I wouldn't use TS, vent and such, I dont feel the need to actually pretend to be female. I'd be a very agressive lesbian anyway.

TL;DR : For me it's something else, like EVE in general

I started playing Eve Online, because I am a HUGE fan of Battlestar Galactica (the new one).

Starbuck (Kara Thrace) was such a fracking kick a$$ woman and I had to try this internet space game.

That's why I name my character Kyt Thrace. I am Kara's older sister that her mommy didn't tell her about.

In a game where the camera tracks your avatar from behind most of the time (Guild wars for example), I always go female.

If I have to do a sodding courier mission, I better have something to look at that I WANT TO LOOK AT.

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

I think CCP would be surprised at how many people would make new avatars that would incorporate male pattern baldness, muffin tops, beer guts (or even moobs!) , jungle of chest/back hair and any number of other 'less than perfect' body types. Not everyone wishes to look like Barbie and Ken.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?
