Scenario your camping a bubbled gate, bubbled with 60+ bubbles covering the full grid.

You kill a guy jumping through in his Drake. boom (8 second lock time)

The guy's pod is effectively dead already... but CCP forces you to go through a 32 second lock time to get his pod.

Waste of gameplay and really not helping anyone.

Suggestion: Have bubbles do "pulsating" damage to pods, so after 3 or 4 second they explode while in bubble, granting a kill mail to the folks who killed their ship.

Another alterantive would be to greatly increased the sig radius of pods, they are insanely small, 400m sigrad would solve the problem and not really affect the pod's survival much at all.

Finally, it takes lots of effort to anchor 60 bubbles on every gate you camp, and too much effort to take it down every time.

I suggest buffing the T2 Large Disruption bubbles to cover the full 250km radius so one could cover the whole grid.

Thank You Obama!

This thread is bad and you should feel bad for having made it.

I just want to roll up a newspaper and smack you with it...or grab you by the back of the neck and rub your nose in this thread so hopefully you wont do this again. I just don't think there is a cleaner that could take this stain out of the GD carpet.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Sig.

You've been playing EvE for 6 years and gate camping is the best idea you can come up with? XD

Lol! Nice one...

I'll give you 7/10 for creativity and 5/10 for controversiality.

All in all one of the better trolling attempts I've seen around here.

... and just in case you are serious (you aren't, right? - right??) ...

No.

If you want to Pod kill you should at least put a modicum of effort into it.

Cheers, Ryder

You are joking. This is a stealth thread, but for what?

I'm seeing this tactic in other forums, how to denigrate one thing but hiding the target of what one seeks to denigrate. It can backfire though (the Ferris Bueller effect).

I agree with OP and bubbles should also drop a plex or 2 every 30 sec. T2 could spawn officer fit nightmare every 5min?

I see your sarcasm, but your right these bubbles are wealth generators for my alliance and right now they don't deliver nearly as much as they used to.

90% of the work in a game-camp is setting up the bubbles, so yes when I've done 90% of the work I do feel entitled.

Adding "battleships" to OP Title this late into it is not going to sway opinion here in either direction.
