Why? They are all destroyable and holdovers from before CCP made them corporation owned. This happened in all systems so wspace isn't anything special.

Get a laser ship to cap stable and park it there firing. Hell, get an alt with a coercer. Cheap ship + cheap clone = afk it until either the thing pops or you get eaten. if you get eaten, try again later.

Or get friends and pop them. the NPC ones don't have reinforce timers.

It is best if you double-down and build a Revelation and sign it on after downtime and go AFK.

Why should they delete them to make it easy for you? If you want to replace them with your own to have 0% tax then you need to risk something and being out in the open shooting a CO does that.

Its zero risk to anyone with a clue.

It makes no sense whatsoever that there would be an already existant corporation structure in w-space.

internet spaceships

are serious business sir.

and don't forget it

Well there is a lot of people that won't do it perfectly safe, so just because you would you think they should delete them?

And they have always been an NPC owned customs office but when they overhauled PI they set tax at 17% for people that are too lazy to shoot them. A lot of people myself included have taken the effort to replace them so i don't see why it should change.

I also found it weird that NPC offices existed in the wh we moved into......

..... Just blow them up.

NPC COs dont even have reinforce timer. There is nothing simpler than to shoot them AFK. I had to remove player POCOs from my system and they had set reinforce timer on 4:00 am in my TZ. it was still AFKable.

What content or fun would bring your suggestion?

Sometimes gameplay trumps common sense. This is one of those cases.

Edit: Although, if you were to replace them with an unusable Sleeper planetary defense weapons platform which shoots back, that might be fun :)

this would make sense and be fun. atleast for higher class wormholes, say c4 to c6.

This!

Because NPC COs take away the 'un' from unexplored.

PS
It wouldn't change the game, but it would make empty WHs seem actually empty.

i don't think a coercer will do it. but an oracle probably will.

I should buy an Ishtar.

NPC POCO's still fit the lore though.
The first poco's were set up by players, transfered to concord and then tranfered to the NPC corp in one of the patches.
There was even a chronicle about it.
It just means that there used to live people in that w-hole.
It is like a left over ruin or a gang tag.

No local in null sec would fix everything!

1. Yes it would change the game, there would be less potential conflcits because people wouldn't have to shoot them to put up their own tower. That's easily a billion isk loss for someone if they used a capital. This cascades to the EVE market where every ripple affects prices.

2. There is no difference between a WH with no players and NPC customers, and a wormhole with no players and customs of a dead or gone corp. You cannot unanchor customs.

Give them dread sized guns and tracking and then have some webbing frigs respawn there every 5 minutes maybe 10. Sleepers are supposed to be smart so let them start blapping back. or trying at least.

I agree the shield recharge reached 600dps at 30% so you need to be able to do more than that at 880 with burst to 1100 it from 40% shield to 10% shield takes about 8 hrs to drop. sentury domi can solo them.

Yes, it never made sense for the tax man to be in un-explored space setting up their little customs offices deep in hostile territory.
