I think you're being pretty unreasonable here - while there are plenty of videos that show off good tank module management ('brawling cs/bs vs gatecamping retards' mk 239892), and substantially less that demonstrate good position control (brutis's saga, i beast's dishonour), in this one he has to do both at the same time. Probably the only more command-per-minute intensive ship typically seen in videos is the 100mn AB active tengu (for all the hate that it gets, it is a ship which requires a lot of clicks to control when AB is active), and I feel that with tengu footage the pilots tend to play far more defensive in terms of engages (understandable - 2b+ ship vs 120m)

Is there some alternative world in which someone could make 100% of the correct piloting / mod management decisions and thus take more aggressive fights (than shown in this video) with the nomen without dying in a fire? maybe. But I think that's a fairly ridiculous standard to hold video makers to.

Nicely done,

the fights are top. Editing is Kovorix style. I like that. Sometimes due to the nature of skirmish it is difficult for the viewer to get all the information and follow the zooming and rotation. But that's a matter of the Eve interface.

But where do you find all those nice small gangs. Was trying to find a fight like that for the last weeks, but only encountered large gangs or people fielding falcons. Maybe I'll have to look around in some other areas like you did.

Very nice fights. I have two questions

1) I Notice you appear to be using hotkeys for alot of modules, am i just missing the clicks? If you are, then what hotkeys are you using? Because Ive been meaning to start using them but find it hard to find any keys im comfortable using as hotkeys in eve.

2) In the last fight with links, was it just loki links or was it loki + legion links?

Yes, don't misunderstand me, it's a good, even a very good video. Maybe I was to harsh, it's just that the piloting isn't mind boggling awesome and the fits are nothing new and unheard of, which for me would be a 10/10. Don't know.

I would probably have been nicer to this video if it wasn't made by a top tier video maker.

1) Yes I hotkey all the modules. I use hotkeys like this:

highs: qwert
meds: asdf
lows: zxcvb

and I used ctrl for heat.

but other people do them different ways too. Takes surprisingly little time to get used to, I recommend it.

2) We had loki and legion links.

I mostly agree with what you're saying - 0.0 has a lot of pretty bad pilots compared to low sec, and there are a few fights in the video that I feel a bit dirty including because of clearly poor fits and flying, namely the Co2 one.

Implying they were fit with the intention of doing anything other than ratting.

Great video, Kovorix. Couple questions though, if you can find the time to answer.

Firstly, hotkeys. I take it you're not text chatting much while you're pvping, so you can afford to use them?
Also, it's just qwert, no modifier key such as alt or ctrl or anything?

Secondly, a more technical question:
As someone who's flown that ship extensively, what do you think is an effective counter to a similarly fit NOmen?
And if you find it difficult to think of a counter, would that, in your opinion, make it imbalanced?
