Defender and Auto-Targeting Missiles

Just curious, when was the last time you used defender and auto-targeting missiles for a deliberate purpose other than just trying them out? I keep gathering little stacks of these in my loots but i never see them included in people's published fits.

I swap to auto-targeting missiles when I know my target(s) have a Griffin or ECM. Comes in very handy in those situations.

Defenders, though... complete crap.

Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?

I used FOF's (i'll never call them ATM's..) about two weeks ago when i got falconed...

Sadly however my FOF's just shot drones until i died instead of being useful.

Generally if you have a launcher that can use them you should have a stack or two. Gives you a chance vs ecm.

only reason to use missiles is that those are hard to shut down totally with any kind of ewar, so auto targeting missiles is one of the biggest reason why i use missile ships.

I don't often rat Guristas space in a Raven

But when I do, I choose Scourge Auto-Targeting Cruise Missiles
