[VIDEO] RAPTORIAL - Solo/Duo/Small Gang PvP

Hai everyone, so my third pvp video is finally here after long time.

I've tried a different approach to this video with bigger hull sizes then before, however I allowed myself one frigate fight ;-) Also this is the first time I've tried to merge two recordings with mine and Guados's perspective (Machariel) killing a small gang so I hope you'll like it.

To people who trip out about links, I'm using skirmish loki links with skirmish implant and a crappy T1 unbonused armored link that is:

Interdiction Maneuvres II
Rapid Deployment II
Passive Defence I (about 12% bonus to resists)

Ships flown: Predominantly Fleet Stabber then Navy Exequror, Caracal, Navy Vexor, Myrmidon, Sleipnir, Astarte, Talos, Prophecy and Daredevil.

*With the tracks I had great problems uploading on youtube. I've been declined audio several times the first track, on which the intro was synchronised so the intro is a little weird at first.

Unfortunately my video can't be played by peeps in Germany due to some other tracks, so I apologise for that, I'll upload the video to EVE files with the original first track.

With all the mess I have exported the youtube video with a wrong track list in. Only the first track Ugh

First few minutes was kind of slow paced, but then it started to pick up speed. Nice piloting and nice editing waiting for another one! Big smile

Really enjoyed this man :) especially the gang stuff - good showcase of what you guys do. I liked the switching between you and Guados in that fight, it would be sweet if you guys could put more of that together in the future.

Thank you all for kind words I appreciate it. I uploaded the video to EVE files, it's rather large 1.5GB, but I'm sure that people can handle :)

Thank you man I wasn't sure at first how to pull it off with that fight, was thinking split screens and different editing, but I stuck with this one. It's just the beginning of these split fights, not a lot of people is doing this and if I could get enough material I'd do a full video with them Lol

I have had fantasies about it before but it's hard to coordinate - if you guys can manage a whole vid I will be so so happy. I'd say fading back and forth is better, with split screen there's too much info on screen. It definitely would be an editing challenge to making it coherent! You might think about using slower replay speeds and having some different colored theme to help differentiate the two of you or something... Big smile

in my opinion you really shouldn't put in 1v1s with similar/identical ship class when you have link adv.

That said I enjoyed most of the video.

What an awesome video!
Start to finish a fun watch that doesn't let go.
Love your tabs setup, very informative. As the viewer I can really see whats going on, and kind of feel like I'm the pilot while watching, if you know what I mean. Plus the links/booster icons are appreciated.
The solo was the best :-) Fantastic piloting! Many great decision making that made for cool and close fights. But some of the small gang was really cool as well. Most of all I enjoyed your duo with Guados's Mach, was very Garmon style hehe, and the fight against those five Gnosis was a lot of fun.
Well it certainly seems like you're having a lot of fun in this game :-) Hope you keep recording some of it, and give us another such enjoyable video in the future.

Yea I wasn't thinking about slower speeds, that would be better probably Roll

We'll definitely start to record more of these and later if more material stacks up there will be a video for sure.

The one big challenge I found in this was to show 'strong moments in piloting' so as for me as a tanker I had to capture the beginning as it was the most dps on field. And for Guados as longer range kiting monster his piloting decisions in positioning and applying dps. Once I had two clips synchronised I found that our 'strong piloting moments' are at the same time. Since Guados warped down to the bubble and had to reposition himself comfortably (I thought it was a good moment to show). And of course because mine as well since the most dps on field, so that was kind of frustrating to edit. And of course the end of the fight out of danger zone I was free to show anything, so I decided to show who tackles who, that wasn't a problem.

Awesome video.

Can't really say which part I loved the most. But the RR gang at the end seems to have been pretty fun :)

The fights were great and your editing skills makes them only better. I like the mach/sleipnir dual point of view. However your daredevil fights were abit too fast. Especially the one against the talos, it was hard to see how you did the approach.

Thoroughly enjoyed the video fella. Was really inspiring to watch.

Agree with a couple of comments that the start was a bit slow and the fight with Guad was a bit too fast - I replayed a couple of bits to make sure I understood what was going on.

For me, the best part was that you attempted to do something different by showing different perspectives. A really nice touch, that if you can perfect, will be amazing.

hurr, I messed up somewhere, it took several hours, is still 1.3gig, and I think you can see a slight quality loss for it. Might find time to give it another go later.

Nice video actually!

As has already been said, a bit slow in the beginning, but hose Cyclones take some time to kill solo. Since you are using nearly no tank links the fights are quite descent and show that brawling solo is still possible.
