Death to Attributes

The drawbacks aren't that dramatic... I'm not sure there is a very good argument here to get rid of attributes.. I like the trade off players have of using ship skill attributes or better learning attributes. removing them would just be unnecessarily simplifying the game.

  - remove the cloaked from local; free intel is the real problem, not  "afk" cloaking -

I agree. All skills should train at 1530 SP per hour.

I bet that is going to become a nerf to the number of SPs per hour. After the nerf I will be able to buy some AUR and convert that into SPs. After all there is already a system in place to apply the SPs... But how did I get this idea uh? Question

Having said the above, I would propose to remove the skill attributes all together and replace them with 5 additional implants slots in which I can plug traditional attribute enhancer implants. This way I can get more bonuses and somehow compensate a bit for some of the major nerfs recently applied in every area of the game.

The major issue is: what are you going to do with the SP accrual? I want to keep accruing my SPs at 2700 SPs/Hr. Can you do that?
If not, forget it. I do not want to pay for SPs and never will.

I like the idea of killing off learning implants as they're really nothing else than learning skills in disguise, so +1 on that part.

Removing attributes completely? Definitely not.

Attributes are an important part in the game, if anything should be done with attributes is to remove the resets(which is a horrible thing to begin with) and be replaced with a morph effect over time and based on skills learned.
Essentially when you learn something your attributes would change to reflect the requirements of that skill slightly, so the more you train such skills the more proficient you become in learning such skills.

A generalist learner would be able to learn all kinds of things in a decent speed whereas a specialised learner would learn at a high speed, the essential present state we have today just allowing it to be more fluent and less absolute, allowing people to change their minds more often than once a year.

The Vargur requires launcher hardpoints, following tempest tradition.
