Question about joining faction warfare

If i'm currently in a player run corporation, that is not involved in faction warfare, and I go to a FW station, and enlist in the militia, will it keep me in my current corporation? Or pull me out and place me in a default FW corp? Basically I'm wondering If I can enlist in faction warfare but still remain a part of my current player run corporation that is not associated with FW.

Apologies if I've been somewhat redundant.

FW works like war decs, either your entire corp is involved, or nobody in corp is involved

To participate in FW, you must join a FW corp.

Each FW has a militia office where you can enlist in the NPC FW corp, but you must leave your current corp to do so.

Alternatively, your entire corp/alliance can join FW. This way, you can be in your own personal corp, and FW at the same time. However, only the directors/ceo/executor of your corp/alliance can initiate bringing the entire corp/alliance into FW, and when they do every member of that corp/alliance becomes a FW participant.

To join a side in FW, you, your corp, or your alliance also must have and maintain a minimum standings with that FW empire.
