New player here, bought a Merlin and am looking to enter FW to engage in PvP. I don't have any specific wants for its fit, just whatever works best with the Merlin in FW. It's a broad question I know, just throw some recommendations at me Smile

This is your third fit thread today. Use google. I googled "merlin pvp fit" and in the first results I came up with a series of decent fits and some bad ones. You're looking for specific fits. They are out there on BC, killboards, this forum, other forums, etc.

Install EFT. Learn why a fit works or doesn't work. If you can't figure that out, come here WITH that fit and ask.

Yes but because I am so new to the game I am not able to tell the bad fits from the good. Nor can I afford to experiment too much. So I came here to get a discussion going on the topic.

Designed for low sec/FW, pretty standard fit everyone has used on a merlin at some point.

This works, it's an in your face brawler. Obviously it can short range kite with the control provided from the web + scram but against faster web+scram ships you best get the Damage in quick before they pull you out beyond your heavy dps range and force you to switch to null.

Against a true kiter you are buggered (like all AB brawlers) unless you can get that kiter to slingshot using your AB which is bloody hard against decent kiter pilots.
