No need - I'll be fine. I'm sticking with water, juice, and other non-alcoholic beverages at the moment. Been sick, remember?

Actually, it would be more accurate, Miss Kim, to say that you are killing his people only by default, since you seem to have a predilection for shooting at Caldari loyalist organizations when you have the chance. It is your own incompetence that has rendered you merely an attempted kin-slayer.

It's also a matter of some bemusement to me that we have a (probably formerly) genocidal Intaki Federal loyalist calling out a somewhat genocidal Achuran Heth loyalist. Perhaps it is those who have felt themselves to be somewhat of an outsider who will most seek to show their loyalty to a cause.

When I speak of nationalizing corporations, incidentally, no, I do not claim that the Federation actually did. Neither did Heth, if one thinks on it. The point is, when Heth found himself in difficulty, he reached immediately for the same solution as Fouritain - an illustrative action, one would think.

Here, Miss Kim, is the truth: Heth has been rejected by the Caldari State, by KK, and by the Caldari people. You can embrace Heth, or you can embrace the State, but you cannot do both. So choose: be a Hethist, or be Caldari. You cannot be a follower of Heth and be Caldari, any more than you can be a citizen of the Federation and be Caldari. They are both entities that the State has rejected.

Pretty much like this, should you prefer this lexical approach.

Now this is completelu inaccurate.
First: there are a lot on people of Caldari origin, who are on service to the Federation in general and FDU in particular, and I wash their disgrace with their own blood, killing them with same prejudice I kill real gallenteans.
And second: I am soldier of the State. If I attack any of "loyalist" organizations, maybe they are not so much loyalist, as you think about them, eh?

But you implied that I want to the State be like the Federation, whether I want the Federation will all their customs, structures, traditions and ideas to lay in ruins.

I am with the State and always were with the State. My life belongs to the State, and if the State will decide that I am not needed anymore, the State can end my life as well.

As for Heth-haan, I can't follow him, because I have no slightest idea about where is he and what is he doing...
But I hope he won't hesitate much and will restore dignity of our State!

So imagine the Caldari conquer a world of the Federation and, lo an behold, somewhere on that world is a Gallentean orphan who ends up being adopted by a Caldari family. Over the years they are raised in the ways of the State, with Caldari culture and values imprinted on them by their dutiful adopted parents.

Tell me, when they grew up would you consider that person to be Gallentean or Caldari?

Miss Kim, if there is one thing you do not understand about the State, one thing that you simply do not grasp, it is this: power matters.

I don't mean simple political power, and there is one of your philosophical failings. Nor do I mean ideological prowess, another of your failings.

It is the will to exert your influence on the universe, and your ability to do so. The will to power, as it were, power over your surroundings and your fellows. Also known as merit. The ability to forge ideas and values into new shapes that create better means for survival.

We, the State, value survival, and thus, the will to survive, and therefore, this will to power. We do not value freedom, as the Gallente, nor faith and obedience as the Amarr, but simple, plain, unalloyed power. Power to chain stars to our will, force black holes into chains, uncoordinated EM frequencies into protective shields, and, yes, trade into unparalleled industrial might and Megacorporations into a nation which, although possessing the smallest population in the cluster, is rated as the greatest or second greatest power in it, consistently. This is power: our ability to forge ourselves and our environment into suitable tools for our survival and growth.

What did Heth do? What did he bring to our values, to our traditions of survival?

Nothing.

The man or woman who would change the State must forge not only new values, new ideas, but better ones, values and ideas that will make us even more capable at imposing our will on others and this harsh universe. The ideal Caldari does not seek unity, but rather the success of his ideals over those of others by their sheer utility and merit for making us more powerful, more capable. Did Heth have such ideas?

No, he did not. The ideas Heth had were borrowed from what we both agree to be inferior entities: the Federation, Empire, and Republic. Racism, as Luc Duvalier was racist. Unwise military adventurism, as the Minmatar, Amarr, and Gallente have already committed. Nationalization, as Fouritain already attempted. It is ironic that, despite Heth's claims to Caldari purity, he demonstrated no adherence to Caldari traditions - to the point of firing on Caldari citizens when they questioned his actions. Until recently, one could at least attribute the retaking of Caldari Prime to his hand. Until recently.

Heth fell because he lacked the ability to effect change in the universe, while his opponents were more than capable. He is demonstrably unfit to lead a single corporation, as illustrated by the fact that he no longer does. He has lost his power - more accurately, he never really had it in the first place. Because competence, capability, and charisma aren't something you possess, they are something you are.

You know that the Caldari State will not kill an independent pod pilot, just as the Gallente Federation, the Amarr Empire, and the Minmatar Republic are also prohibited from acting against an independent pod pilot against their assent. Your decision is yours alone. Don't try to hide behind a false claim to peril. Make a decision.

Diana Kim: A Case Study in Cognitive Dissonance

About her only value in life is to serve as a living parody of everything that is not Caldari and never will be.

A false pretender imbued with neither strength, power, dignity, charisma, intelligence, or wit.

She is quite Gallentean as she stereotypes them in fact: A talentless, foolish mediocrity who due to lacking the virtues of culture and breeding is left only with their vapid and empty thoughts expressed in public as a Provist poseur.

In fact, it was you, who don't understand, that power matters.
On one hand you speak about the power, and on the other, you are suggesting that you spread the power.
What I am talking about, is creating a source of concentrated power, concentrated enough, to break through enemy lines.

But currently for survival of the whole nation we must consolidate the power, for it to dissipate later among corporation after the enemy will be defeated and the future for our children secured.
Look, I am really tired to repeat one thing time over time, is it really that hard to understand?..

Vikarion wrote:

Nothing.

Why is Heth-haan suddenly here?
But I will disagree with this.
It is because of Tibus Heth's action gallentean racist revolts on Caldari Prime has ended. It is because of Tibus Heth we face the Federation with guns drawn and pointing in their direction, but not on the kneels, begging for their money. The Federation was trying to kill our citizens for quite long time already. It was two hundred of years ago. And it happens now.

There is only one solution that will fit our traditions of survival: The Federation must be destroyed.

Do you really that obsessed about Heth-haan?
Okay.
It seems you still don't understand the concept of uniting all Caldari. This is not the goal, this is the solution to reach the goal. You need to unite our nations not for simple uniting and staying together and stuff, but to successfully finish the operation, that has started: the war against the Federation. It is overextended, we are trying to fight as hard as we can. But should we have united earlier, we would have won it already.

The moment the Caldari will stand together and make one concentrated strike into the heart of the Federation, the Federation will fall. This is what they are afraid of. This is why their agents, sympathizers and other scum, that does not wish Caldari to succeed, are trying to prevent us from uniting with all their power.
