T​here arises from time to time a circumstance that requires special pause and reflection.

Tonight I attended a gathering in honor of Msr. Tycho Antus who will shortly be retiring from Caspuleer life.

Tycho is to those who have had the pleasure of his acquaintance, a rare sort.

He is loyal, trustworthy, kind, generous and compassionate.

In short he is everything many if not most of us are not.

I consider his friendship a rare privilege and will miss his gentle admonishments.

If you have had occasion to know him, I encourage you to thank him personally for being a living example of what we should all aspire to be but so often are not.

While I haven't met Tycho Antus, when Mr. Syagrius has reason to speak positively of something or someone, I take note.

Best wishes, Mr. Antus, with your endeavors among the baseliners, and if you should find yourself in a pod again.
