Mysterious, unexplainable things. How did they happen? Why did they happen? Nobody knows. And yet, they're so insignificant that probably no one will ever bother to investigate. Insignificant mysteries that will never be solved.

I'll start with the first example. Add your own.

I opened my dryer one day and found a full load of un-matched socks that don't belong to me.

You make a valid point, good Sir or Madam.

The Voynich Manuscript most indeed.

This sounds related to the missing spoons and forks mystery. How come you have less and less of them as time goes on? It's not like you're carrying them out of the house all the time.

Welp, Ren and Stimpy found all the missing left socks in the world in a black hole.

Maybe start there ????

That's pretty bizarre. Imaginary language invented by some very eccentric person, or...?

Here's another unsolved mystery. The Godzilla suit stolen in 1984. It was used in only one film, and has never been found. Actually this is a very significant unsolved mystery, not an insignificant one.

I was on the VMS mailing list for a few years around 1999 - 2002, the only development that I know of since losing track of things there was that Beinecke (sp?) did some radio carbon dating that confirmed it was ~14 - 15C iirc.

How do you know someone didn't surreptitiously put the forks and spoons into your clothing and as you walked around your neighborhood, they fell off and got lost in various places around town?

Very mysterious.

Watch this space.  New exciting signature in development.

You are mistaking it for the other island with elves and dwarves.

Here's another one: Aviation disaster photo. No one seems to know when or where this happened. Possibly somewhere near West Indianola, Kansas, USA. The identities of the victims (if any) are unknown.

Good point. To make my intention clear, I should have added Hobbits.

But not really. Iceland is not anywhere near this mythical Australia place. Nowhere near. Were you really confused ??

The most insignificant mystery in my life is how I always end up maxing to the brim all of my HDDs, and when I try to do a manual delete of files to free space ... There is not much I can delete Cry
