Hey all,

Just wondered what the situation was with this.
I remember a dev blog around the start of the year that talked about it.
If I remember rightly, there were several issues with it that saw strong reactions from the community and so the plan was dropped.

I'm just wondering if this is still on the cards for the future or if the idea of 3rd party developers charging real money for their work has been shelved.

It was supposed to be back on the cards in a revised form "after summer".

Maybe once the expansion dust has cleared?

Some of the popular EVE iOS apps seem to have found a loophole that I have not seen a response from CCP saying its not allowed which is requesting payment for advert removal.

The other money maker seems to be in timecode referrals in exchange for ISK (eg Somer Blink).
