Null sec angel ratting ship to match my SP?

I'm not very good at building ships so I was hoping for some help. Can someone look at my skills and suggest a good ship and fit for null sec pve?

As you can no doubt see my gunnery skills are quite high (about 12 mil SP) but only autocannons T2 right now. Also as you can see my armour tanking skills are very high (elite certificate) but my shield tank skills are crap (not even basic certificate).

Want it to belt rat as well as do angel hubs and also the odd drone anomoly that appears in my system.

Been trying alot in EFT but tbh i'm hard pressed to find a good one that matches my SP well.

I know its a good machariel pilot but I can't afford a 1 bil hull atm.

A dominix of some sort would be good, fitted with a MJD to run if you fail to tank, you can easy get 900 dps out of it with drones and guns bonus, you can sentry fit it or just put orges and MWD around... well you wont get 900 if you MWD around but you can get 400+ dps just out of sentry's, at more then 50 km easy....

see i would fit only one rep due to the fact you'll be far away you really need to play with it your self.

Or a Close range fitting like i was saying, thats what i normally use, you just have to be a bit more careful. I dont actually have them fit exactly like that i just played around in EFT wonder how i would fit it... its cheap even.

Neither of those would last last a minute in a site. Plus you damage output is going to be about 40 percent of your paper dps because of the resist profiles. You need to deal explosive.

Ratting in null is rarely in a belt, you are in sites, you need to tank explosive, kinetic and thermal and have at least a 60km range.

A full pumped arty mach works, as does maelstrom.

Well i don't know how told you that you needed 3 resist but il let you know that my reactive hardener for Bloods tells me i need to tank thermal and EM only all the time when i go ratting. ITs easy to know what you need to tune.

You can even add some resistance if you fell like it, no need to invest hundreds of millions in a pve boat.

Actually, if you only want around 400 dps why not use an AF? i got a nice Enyo fitting that has around that DPS and tanks any amount of BS, it can even deal a few heavy neuts. All that for 40 million isk.

If i wanted to spend 1-2 billion id get a carrier instead, if i lived in nullsec that is.
Or better a vindicator. Reaching the 1500 dps

I don''t care about bloods.

He said angels, and that means you have to deal with Cherubin that deal 60% thermal, are long range and burn off to 65km if you let them which means you are going to eat a LOT of that. Again, you are missing that Angels are heavily tanked against kinetic thermal and EM, this is PvE 101, Vindi, enyo, rails gardes, ogres are all **** agianst angles.

I've rattied in angle null, a lot.

If you use a traditional explosive/kinetic tank against them the Cherub tear you a new one.

.....oh and the short range battleships burn in at 1500m/s so good luck kiting.

Try it, then give advise, but a forsaken hub could break the tank on a faction Maelstrom, and a Forlorn would break a deadspace. They hit hard.


You **** would be great in Serpentis, Gurista, and (aparently blood) space. I've never really ratted in Blood Raider space so I can't tell you there.


oh and take an enyo into a site and tell me how that works out. (like 9 hours later)

If you are belt ratting in hostile territory consider a Hound. Covops cloak and CN Nova torps, prop mod, target painter and shield extender, two ballistics in low and a power whatsit fitting module. Makes short work of Angel battleships.

why there's small AC there? because if those frig that can web and scram you get near you can kill them (you can change drone off course if you can't kill them with that 4 AC), but ultimately because i don't know what to add in there

My own corps null sec but the enemy still owns the system next door until we manage to take it.

Unsure what drone sites lol cause the system has no upgrades yet and so I have seen no anomolys yet but was told some drones appear.

I can't use sentry drones yet.

it's sniping fit so you need to stay away from your enemy as far as possible (100+ km) so they can't do damage at all to you, i have use it when i'm in angel space without the T2 gun and it turns out pretty good for a start but you really need to be fast if something go wrong like the enemy is below 50 km warp out but don't forget to bookmark your last place so you can warp back on 70 km or at your taste
