Griefing CCP - Bounties for E-Uni Ganking

Tl;dr: CCP luvs EVE university, gank these folks, get paid and irritate CCP.

CCP have been irritating me for :18 months: now and :$1000 Jeans: was enough to convince me that the CCP needed a virtual slapping and I have been wondering for months how to get them back for almost ruining EVE. Now a wardec on CCP would be nice but they would just hide behind a "dec shield" so what to do?

This morning a thought of sheer greatness entered my head. CCP has a weak spot in game and it is EVE University.

"CCP luvs EVE University", CCP loves the money that they bring to the game even more and CCP see EVE University as their "high sec golden child", so to grief CCP we have to grief EVE university.

A wardec would be a waste of ISK as they have been nerfed thanks to EVE University so some good old fashioned suicide ganking before that is nerfed will have to do.

Payment plan.
Hulk : 30 million ISK
Mackinaw : 15 million ISK
T2 Hauler : 10 million ISK
T3: 40 million ISK
Incursion or Mission ship: 50 million ISK (ship and fit must be worth at least a billion) <- actually any ship worth a billion gets this including freighters, orcas, or anything

Bonuses.
Director corpse: 50 million ISK bonus (are they ever in space?) <- moved this to bonuses to stop scam attempts
In corp gank: 10 million ISK bonus.
Any kill over 2 billion ISK: 20 million ISK bonus
5 kills: 20 million ISK bonus (kills paid out for ships that are on this list)

These are for ganks in high but if you get them in low or null then I will pay half.

I have about five billion ISK to pay out, and will pay out when I see the api verified kill to whoever got the final blow, and with a bit of luck should be able to keep this going until the insurance nerf patch happens.

Hopefully I get a load of whines about how EVE University is a noob corp and I can keep pointing out how they are now a high sec carebear corp whose membership is fast approaching the year mark on average, and whose carebear members can afford to fly hulls with fittings worth billions.

Pay in advance? Nope, gank in advance.

(Note well that "virtual slapping" in no way is an endorsement of actual real life violence and "griefing" in this instance refers to legitimate in game activities that are not violations of the ToS or EULA.)

Sure, I can keep an eye out for Eve Uni.

BTW, Lyris, what happened to my Interdiction bounties? P

Ganks are going to happen anyway, but don't want to waste time cut/pasting KMs to you or Venus Vermillion if the program is over...

I support this endeavor against the so-called "EvE University". They are nothing but a scourge in High-sec and a major pain in my ass! I am willing to commit forces to this and also I offer my knowledge to this effort. Also, if you ever want to have them run shitless out of low-sec, hot-drop them with carriers. Jus' sayin.

The best way to grief CCP is to manipulate them to make so many gamebreaking changes (such as how rr'ing criminals doesn't get you killed anymore) that they go bankrupt even faster.

Your payment plan should give you no headaches, concerning that EVE Uni usually only flies crappy t1 frigates or cruisers. Well played Roll

The highsec incursion in Aldrat is full of E-Uni members flying faction battleships and T3s.

The days when members left the Uni before they could properly solo level 4 missions is long, long over.

good luck hunting! i wish many people will join this ganking effort and i hope will see MANY kills... so that we might actually see ganking made a lot harder in the future because of sooo many people complaining.

possible solutions in the long run, i wish we saw all of them implemented:
1. increase HP/buffer of ALL ships (but keep tanking abilities at current values)
2. add a new (first) counter to high alpha. e.g. 2 module are open to discussion:
a) new type of logistics, e.g. "remote resistances"
b) new module, e.g. "chaff" reducing signature radius
3. introduce a "ganking history", exponential sec status drops for people with a recent ganking record.
4. stop insurance payout for concord kills, so that we see less low-profit ganks ( - done, since crucible ^^)
5. review rules to engage pod with low standings considering ganking from orca-drops.

@ShipToaster:
- you should update the headline to inlude "bounty for EUNI ganking" so more people find it?
- why no bounty for T1 kills? this would give you most ganks i suppose?
- tell me when your 5 bil are used up, i might consider also donating a bil or so depending on the feedback from the eve community. paying money for ganking EUNI is probably the best way to make ganking harder, and that is a very useful investment of isk Cool

EDIT: suggested changes should not cause eve to become "hello kitty online" but favor
- longer fights. meaning more fun, new tactics and making distress calls useful
- ganking of rather high-value targets, and a slightly higher price to be paid for "ganking for fun"
- require teamwork to do successful ganking
- give consequence to your actions (repeated breaking of the law)
- new ways to protect against ganking (instead of fitting "just a buffer")

when the new tier 3 BC will hit tranquility i think we will see a winter ganking season Ugh

Why do E-Uni annoy so many people, I wonder? I have no vested interest in the matter either way, but I am genuinely interested in finding out (and probably mocking remorselessly) your greivance with them.

As has the days when most corps used to recruit people before they can properly solo level 4 missions.

Fighting only in safe situations with no chance of loss is pretty much the definition of a carebear, isn't it ?

I can pull 5 corps recruiting brand new players off the first page of the recruitment section of these here forums.

You're wrong.

It depends what you want to do. Filter out the scams and the deadwood and you are left with very few unless you want to grind all day. There is a reason the good corps are able to set fairly high requirements for recruitment.

Besides, getting all worked up about other people's choices inside a sandbox strikes me as a waste of time.

We're getting worked up that the sandpark owner keeps giving one group of people more and more sand, and everytime the other group works out a way of getting in on this the sandpark owner goes "OH NO! POOR PRECIOUS BABIES! DEFENCELESS BABIES!" and puts up more walls between them and us.

All the time, the sandbox owner deny that it is getting easier to amass sand in safety.

And what if you pis off the sandbox owner to the point of them saying no more killing any player in high sec space.

Part of this, is demonstrating that this is effectively what CCP are doing with these changes, but can't say outright because most the playerbase would leave.

.. and which walls would those be? The war-deccing mechanic was hardly new.

If you want to complain about more sand go after the sovereignty mechanisms.
