Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read and/or reply to this thread if you choose to do such.

I'm back and I'm asking for a little advice on my most favoredweapon in EVE. Drones. I love using them, but can't quite get it right I don't think. Recently I've been experimenting with using drones over 100km away. It seems pretty effective, except the part where I have to overload with moduals to control them that far off and they're mostly my only defense at that point aside from a few neuts. I typically use a Geddon. Any advice on better use of drones? I plan to use them pretty hot'n heavy and eventually refine the tactics for PVP.

As far as I know the Ishtar is the only ship in the game that has a drone operation range bonus. Other than that it's modules and skills ...

Overloading drone link augs? o.O

Hacking the game isn't nice!

I think he's talking about having to use so many drone link augs that he hasn't got room for weapons or neuts in his high slots.

There are a couple of skills that will help in that regard: Combat Drone Operation V will unlock T2 Drone Link Augmentors (24,000 meter control boost to the T1's 20,000 meters), and Electronic Warfare Drone Interfacing gives a straight 3,000 meter control boost per level. EWAR Drone IV and a pair of T2 augs will give the Armageddon a drone control range of 105 km and still leave room for a full complement of turrets or missile launchers (a cruise missile 'Geddon is actually a thing now), or a pile of heavy neuts that'll reach out past 35 km with good skills and cap out pretty much anyone who gets in too close.
