Well as you know Skilling **** takes forever. I had a lot of time reading stuff. Basically Tet lost Goons are bad and PL are worse than a turd. Betrayers,

No we're the good guys. TEST was a slumlord who had taken on the same role as disgusting shitlords they helped evict from that region years ago. They buddied up to the same elitist trash that always attempts (And fails) to have a go at the goons and well... it played out just like it was expected to.

With the good guys winning.

One of my chars started buying Nitrogen Isotopes 5 minutes after the lead game designer said he wanted to make "ice the oil of Eve".

I am a terrible trader, and finally started selling off those Nitrogen Isotopes I picked up months ago, at 771 a few days ago, and sold off the last lot at 935 today.
Clearly, I should get out of the business, since mynnna stated months ago they would hit 1000, and did not believe him.

After the stolen Money that went straight to the Pandemic Legion Test has only one Option left. High Sec. High Sec corps to supply them with Ships and ISK. Well for Security of course. High Sec is the biggest Faction in this game. Trading Corps. Mining Corps. Missionrunners........they make 90% of the Population in this Game. All low skilled ofc but as you say viable.

It does not matter how amoral the goons are.

Are they the bad guys of Eve?
Would the game be far better if they did not exist?

Yes and yes.

Is there any way to topple them?
No.

Consider them as an organized crime group. It is a fair analogy when you compare the behaviour of a group like the Mafia and the goons.

So how does an powerful organized crime group fall?
Either they are toppled by a stronger organized crime group or they are crushed by a concerted effort of law enforcement.

Will a more powerful organized crime group emerge to supplant them? No, not unless the cartels running the Serenity server decide to come to TQ. goons may be evil, but they excel at meta-gaming, and logistics, which are far more powerful than 500 supercaps attacking them. There is no player group capable / willing enough on TQ that can defeat them.

As for the law enforcement analogy, that would be CCP, and they encourage, even celebrate the goon modus operandi. So no, CCP will never stop goons.

Anyone who hates the goons has two options. Either keep playing the game in spite of their control over it, or quit paying a sub to CCP. The vast majority choose option #1.
