i was in tartan army for a few months, you would literally get:

3 lines of chat....
dead air for 12 hours,
someone posting o/
someone posting hey
2 hours of dead air
rinse and repeat.

Maybe its the fact that the channel is ******* dead that has made you so bitter, but if you open your eyes, i am not trolling, i am merely stating a fact, as a Scottish player i joined, i had some conversations but 99% of the time, its a dead ******* channel.

i don't know if you get some kind of thrill being a "recruiter" for a dead channel but its quite clear you get butthurt when someone tells the public that it is nearly always quiet.

i know a lot of Scottish players in eve, and i even tried to get them into TA, but in the end, nobody in there would be talking, so we all just ended up talking in Eve radio or other roaming channels and such.

Don't feel too bad though, this thread has had more attention than Tartan Army has, so things are looking up, eh?

Kinda the point I made the thread.... I want the channel a bit more lively but with you posting making it look bad its not gonna help...

tbh m8 I only started this game less than 2 months ago, I still don't see your problem with me trying to get a little action in the channel...

I'm just bored in work....

Well, it looks like we're all too lazy to get the ball rolling, so I'll take it as a hint and try to start arranging a meet. Details subject to change, because I'll need to figure out what I can make based on my shifts at work. Though, this is likely to be late november/early december (so people have been paid)

Anyway, I'm thinking we should start forming up during the afternoon, and keep picking up X's, and then just go on a drunken roam.

All I can think of so far, is that we can start the day off in the Holyrood pub, on Holyrood road, (Edinburgh) as the prices of beer and food are reasonable, and then let just make it up as we go along for the rest.

I'll check in at work, figure out what I dates are likely to work best, and then start a new thread
