Invoking the Militarization Clause.

So, not that it matters much to any of you, but I'd like to make it known that I have officially informed Ishukone, that upon my completion and return from my current assignment(s), I intend to invoke the Militarization Clause in my Graduate Contract.

The clause, in a nutshell, voids my current contract with State War Academy and Ishukone Corporation, with the provision that I must enter Service in Defense of The State. I am free to negotiate a new Operator contract with Ishukone, which I most certainly will, but all State Defense assignments will take precedence.

Once I return from my current assignment(s), the paperwork will be ratified, notarized, and everything will be made official.

Should be an interesting experience.

I think that defense of the State is the highest of roads for Caldari capsuleers and a worthy goal to dedicate your time to. You most certainly have my blessing, for what it's worth. Hivaa saitsuo.

Best of luck to you. Unless you don't believe in luck, in which case, godspeed to you. Unless you don't believe in any gods, in which case- nah, I'll leave it at that.

We gazed up to the stars and decided that they should belong to us, so we rose up and claimed them. We gazed upon immortality and decided that it should belong to us...so we reached out...and _**took **_it.

I knew you were one of us, Kourdus. May the spirits watch over you on your journey.

The same choice I made when I graduated - may it bring you all that it has brought me, kirjuun.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

Sounds like a curse rather then wishing them well.

*chuckles* I wouldn't say that. It's not the easiest life - I hear the food in the FDU is better - but if you're looking for a challenge that's rewarding, service to the State is a good path to take.

I hear Black Rise is getting interesting these days.

Pilot Kourdus, just do me a favor and think hard about the decisions you make in life as a Capsuleer. Casual decisions have grave impacts on thousands of baseliners. You are far more important in this life then you were in your previous one. You need to have that reflected in how you act. Be responsible with the power at your hands. That's all.

Lessons in responsibility and the impacts of our actions from a toaster.

I need to upgrade the surge protector on my irony meter, it isn't helping.

And pay little attention to those who simply attack one's character or political affiliation rather then honestly acknowledge the content of what someone said.
