If anyone has some linkage about whether or not they will be seeding blueprints on the market for the weapons and vehicles for dust 514 it would be appreciated

IIRC the dusties were getting their own crap ... and/or it was planet goo from our perspective.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Since Dust will be FTP and funded via microtransactions, my assumption is that we will have no role to play in building anything for their markets.

It would be cool though!

Enterprising CCP should make it so that we can buy Dusty gear through AUR in order to boost our armies of pet dusties that they go forth and wreck havoc on our competitors so we can corner the market in key products leading to massive profits which can be reinvested in Plexes so we can get more AUR to recruit more dusties to go forth and conquer and wreck havoc so that we ...

Er...

Sorry go carried away.

I think the whole POCO stuff made destroying another users CC completely irrelevant.
When I control the POCO I control the access to the planet. Period.

Colonies that must then rely on launch pads will be disbanded soon enough.

Except that if you don't give me access to the POCO I set dust bunnies on all your colonies until you do.

Sure, I could hire someone to take down your POCO and set mine up, but trading POCOs could soon get boring. Maybe better to just set your planet on fire instead.

The owner of the POCO will be able to control imports, but (barring more changes) exports can still be launched from the CC allowing players to bypass the POCO or to operate where no POCO exists. This will get pretty ugly for P1 exports due to the volume of material involved, but it'll be manageable for single planet P2s and fairly easy for P3s.

If you want me off your low-sec planet, you're going to have to send someone down here to get me.

That'd be great. I want to be able to manufacture a literal shipload of guns, and use it to arm a rebellion to take over someone's PI.

Much like I'd love to totally change the tide of a ground battle by blowing **** up from orbit. Pound pound pound.

If you want to make a dime off your colony you will soon disband it and go to another planet. As you said: the volume through the launch pad sucks!

My understanding is that Dust will BPCs, not BPOs. This way BPs are consumed and need to be purchased ... $

Also rather interested in this. Just watched some videos on interaction....

90% of of the time my posts are about something I actually find interesting and want to learn more about. Do not be alarmed.

Some of the screenshots clearly showed ISK prices for dust equipment.

Not sure exactly what that means (assuming they don't change it), but it implies they can be at least traded on the market.

Or that Dust wll be using ISK instead of making up a new currency.
