Will there ever be a multi-threaded client released?

Multi-threaded CPU's have been on the market since early 2005, (That's over 8 years ago!) Almost all games have this...now dated technology except EVE.

I think it's about time we have this technology instead of living in pre-dated technology.

The performance gains everyone would receive would improve everyone's experience!

So, CCP, will you ever get around to fixing this along with the many...MANY...MANY other coding related issues?

The last I heard was you're pushing this old code to it's limits!

You can beat around the bush all you want, but you can only put so many band-aids on a 6 Inch deep cut. Before you have to go to the ER and get stitches and hope nothing vital (like customer patience) got sliced open.

I'd like to volunteer the OP for rewriting EVE Online's code as CCP as better things to do that improve your FPS past 120.

Cant say how the code works without seeing it but Im pretty sure I see my evefile.exe putting load on two cores not just one and it seems to be working pretty well that way.

For the record... I do not have a monster gaming system to play with just your basic 1...4 years old everyday components.

The client is not even remotely CPU limited. (On most hardware)
