Now if CCP hadn't developed the system where I don't get a pre arranged fair fight and am not allowed to run away once I enter hull, i wouldnt have died. I blame them.

I wear my goggles at night.

Any spelling/grammatical errors come complimentary with my typing on a phone

it depends on who lost something and what it was

if it was something cheap, op success
if it was something hideously expensive, op success

if the fleet gets welped, we have a guy on retainer who we blame.

What is this 'blame' thing you speak of? P
Blame implies, at least, recriminiation. That gets in the way of making myself better at the game.

I analyze why I died in a fire; often it's due to factors I could either not control, or could not anticipate.
Sometimes, it's because of factors I failed to control even though I could have done so - but chose not to for reasons which were considered and discarded as not practical.
Sometimes, it's because I made an error in judgement. Or even a gross error in judgement.
Sometimes, it's just the roll of the dice.

Ganking has made me rather immune to 'Ship-Loss Trauma.' At least, so long as I fly things I can afford to lose. Blink

No one really cares but ok.

It's ok He answered the question in a roundabout way. He doesn't blame himself but he spurs himself on to not make mistakes again in the future (if they were losses through mistake)

Yeah, pretty much what you said.

Only you say it better.

If I'm in a Boat fleet, it's Boat's fault. In every single other circumstance, my death is my fault.

Your death is your fault. You warped to 0 instead of a safe. You didn't scout. You carried around $5000 worth of plex in your ibis. It's always your fault when you die in Eve.

In a manner of speaking, this is always true - Even if DRB is your FC. Blink You can't die unless you undock. Undocking is *always* your own choice. That said, unless you wish to play market games or scam forever, sooner or later you're going to have to undock.

After that, you're relying on your judgement, chance, and the judgement of every other undocked player in EVE.

If you win, you ganked me. If I win, it was honorable combat.

If I undock a ship and it gets blown up I blame myself for undocking. If however its some ******** crap like loading into system and my screen freezing or similiar I blame CCP cus its more satisfying.

I know right? I was going to put that in the "blaming others" examples but thought I'd attract too much flak.

Depends... My fleetmate lost a ship because I wasn't aligned to a gate because he told me to "hold my cloak". Then winged when he instawarped and lost a ship and I didn't... He blamed me... Not himself...

I told him tough **** for giving bad FC commands...Big smile

So you cancelled your warp then? He was right to blame you if that is the case.

I'm guessing it was more that the FCs ship was already aligned and instawarped. Whereas seraphs was still under gate cloak (as per orders) so needed align before warping hence the delay in his arriving and thus the death of the FC

Exactly this^ by the time I landed he had already died (a good 30s later) and they had all burned so far off where I landed that I was able to get away.
Sorry for the late reply, only just woke up Big smile

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."
