World of Tanks - Nerf the Lowe

Sorry to any Moderator out there... we got off-topic a bit there. Allow me to get this train back on it's tracks.

I've been saving up research points for while now but I'm thinking it might be easier to just get everyone I know to petition CCP and give me a free tank that can compete at the level of the Lowe.

Thanks. Yeah World of Tanks is basically a precursor to all out console gaming. I've heard they are going to add a patch that will let you dress up your tank commander in different outfits and things.. even let him wear half a bifocal. The half bifocal will cost about as much as a real full bifocal though.


And more than a bifocal costs in real life...

I believe some extensive research has went into 'plex for research points' conversion. This is top of the developers "needs fixed" list and will therefore be avaiable sometime in summer 2014.

If you just petition them, they'll probably reimburse any losses you suffer to the Lowe, because it's existence is clearly a broken game mechanic that's far more important than anything else in WoT atm...

Also, there's a competition to design a tank up right now. Since WoT is on the "agile" development cycle, the new tanks should be in game about two years after they announce a winner, so look for that in 2014 as well!

I was thinking they would. I've seen in the past where players could strong-arm them into getting what they want.

Well.. the Lowe could penetrate a bisexual but we still don't know if a bisexual could penetrate a Lowe. We should probably just assume all is well and then captran...I mean shoot at the bisexual Lowe driver.

I've heard about this, the new tier 3 tank.

Basically, they've promised something really cool then just for a laugh, right before it comes out they make it sh*t!
They can be penetrated easily but have bigger guns or something? Or perhaps one could say that they have a propensity for penetration. I like that.. New corp time.

Yeah, they figured that since the player base has such a thing for bending over voluntarily, that they'd add a bonus to being penetrated..
