I recently joined a PvP corp that looks like the get 20-30 corp members flying around tring to kill people, I don't plan to go solo, that scares the crap out of me.  Now what I want to know is where is best for me to train to get a couple of decent pvp ships, frigs, bc's and maybe a scout as that sounds enjoyable (I understand you are the first to die, but still sounds fun!!!)

Attached is my current skills, off the top of my head (I'm at work and can't see eveboard) I have a lot of points in shields so would like to go to a race that I don't have to train in armor too much (if that's possible) and I have a number of points in Gunnery, mainly Small/Medium/Large Energy Turrets and obviously many points in Missiles, and I can fly Amaar ships, but I don't think it's a large amount of time to fly the different ships, it's mainly the skills to be able to fit them correctly.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Personaly I'd aim for being a skirmisher......

If you think you will already like it then you probably will. Also, EVERY gang needs one and more.....

You'll learn more about ships being a skirmisher (point man) than you will being in teh blob.

If you choose this route (and I did), you will need to work on your frigate skills, Inty skills (vitaly important as it gives range on disruptor), navigation, and electronic skills (to minimise cap drain on point).

With all of these skills you can and will use htem forever, especially the navigational skills......
