Where do I begin with the EVE Toolkit?

This is my first post on the EVE Community Forum. I began with the following link to the EVE Toolkit. I installed MSSQL Express 2013. I actually installed the largest of the packages of MSSQL.

I have downloaded the .zip of the Odyssey database from the afore-linked webpage. Now my question is: What next?

I have never, ever used MSSQL and know jack about SQL. My only experience w/ databases is really navigating a MySQL database with PHPMyAdmin of a website I used to have. This is where I would like to start. But I don't know even how to get the .bak file into a database with MSSQL. Could someone please tell me exactly what to do in order to at least get the database backup into my MSSQL installation so I can brows the data?

This is a project to teach myself SQL (will be buying an O'Reilly book as well). I am studying computer science and haven't gotten around to learning about databases (I am one class away from finishing my A.S.). I would like to get a M.S. in Computer Science and someday teach the subject matter. My interest in the EVE database is that I think that it if I knew how to use the database, I could export CSV files (which I also don't know how to do) of the solar systems, stargates, regions, constellations, sec status, etc. in order to teach Graphs. I think it would be a great way to teach about Graphs. So instead of asking someone else to make me the CSV files, I want to learn how to do it myself. Any help would be appreciated on how to get the EVE database into my MSSQL instance.

Thank you.

You're basically restoring from a backup. So this guide should get you up and running.

Thanks a lot for the link. I have it up and going and have also already learned some basic queries and how to export the results to comma (or tab) delimitted files. Nice.
