Because typically Mercenaries want to get paid for their actions and maintain a general level of 'space honoure' and trust with the people they work with; I wouldn't say immunity from a proper mercenary corp is ever on the table, but for the duration of a contract, plus an additional 'dwell time' of roughly the same length of the contract would be par for the course. Sadly, there are very few actual 'Mercenaries' left in this game.

All you have now are essentially griefers decing alliances based on member counts.

It's almost as if you were attempting to deny Vegas' claims that you nerds were afraid of anything resembling a threat (i.e. shooting ships with guns on them).

They all run and hide when we come into system or their eyes see anyone from my alliance or Pendulum of Doom. There have been several times where we have had one of them pointed while there are other Marmites in system and they just leave their buddy to die all by his lonesome. Some of their dudes have even started gate-camping in cloaky T3s so they can scurry away. It's really quite disappointing.

I'm not claiming to be an elite PVP"er, nor am I claiming to be shutting down an alliance, the burden of proof is on the agressor methinks. If you really want to know; Haven't lost a ship since we had that war with some real cool guys 2 months ago.

For someone who keeps whining in game that people are passive aggressive and need to stop telling him how to run his alliance, he sure is telling these guys how they need to run their defensive operations.

I mean really, why would you want to consider being the client of someone who will vindictively go after you if you opt out of their "program."

Can someone give me a brief tl:dr or what's happened with Marmite over the past couple months? I've been out of C&P for a while, I pop back in and everyone is saying Marmite is fail cascading and on their killboard they're apparently getting dunked by EVE University (lol) so what happened?
