Hey, OP, you dont have to worry about the marmotas. Even under their wardec I undocked from jita 4-4 and they didnt even try to agress me.

Did you happen to have guns on your ship? I think that may have been the problem there.

Play EvE how you want to play it and do not let others dictate how you play. Evolve your playstyle to protect yourself from others! Even in "PVE", "PVP" is there, lurking in the shadows.

"Merc" by it's very definition can be that of enemy and friend.

They can be your friend today when you pay them to do something or be your enemy the next day when they get cash from somewhere else.

If you pay them once and receive their protection so to speak what makes you think they are still going to honor something they are no longer paid for?

Why the hell WOULDNT they wardec you when you stopped their service. That was the point of the service! (You know, so they wouldn't wardec you)

Because typically Mercenaries want to get paid for their actions and maintain a general level of 'space honoure' and trust with the people they work with; I wouldn't say immunity from a proper mercenary corp is ever on the table, but for the duration of a contract, plus an additional 'dwell time' of roughly the same length of the contract would be par for the course. Sadly, there are very few actual 'Mercenaries' left in this game.

All you have now are essentially griefers decing alliances based on member counts.

Check 'the Dawn of Eagles' corp info.

Under the protection of: The Devil's Warrior Alliance (Which is one of our war targets)
