Jita Seccession From the Caldari Empire

With all of the problems associated with Jita I think that it is time for Jita to declare its independence from the Caldari State and become its own sovereign territory.

With Jita becoming its own sovereign territory the days of the Caldari dictating the price of items on market will be over as would their empirical meddling into who was manufacturing what.

Jita would become New Jita where all of the systems surrounding New Jita would be under the direct control of the New Jita Trading Guild. Each empire would have its own system of course where empire specific items would be sold instead of having everything in one system that creates a lot of clutter and oh yes the Caldari State sponsored Smart Bombing of unsuspecting trade ships coming and going into Jita.

New Jita would remain the Trading Guilds center of governance where missions pertaining to the New Jita Trading Guild would take precedence over the Caldari State sponsored missions.

Another advantage to New Jita under the governance of the Trading Guild is that if your standings with the Caldari State were
-5.00 and lower you could still enter New Jita without fear of the Caldari Navy showing up to blow you into bits.

So with that in mind I am suggesting that Jita secede from the Caldari State and become an independent trade hub for all instead of being delegated by the Caldari and their State sponsored war machine.

or you copuld just go to any of the other 5 player-made tradehubs with equal availability of goods and prices, you know, like everyone else?

Or you can make a Jita alt with the nifty new dual training capability. An alt in a NPC corp that can't be wardec'd.

Perhaps the formulation of a new entity is not required, CONCORD could take control or even make a new system as the hub in a similar location (in between a large number of constellations) . Jita is the one reason I have not joined factional warfare cuz dodi's prices are nuts

Maybe a shake up in the hub market system is exactly what is needed. Ring all of their bells with war crack them like a piñata and then spread the wealth around to other systems.

I like the idea, from a lore perspective. From a game perspective, though, I don't see the point. For those concerned about access to Jita with regards to Caldari standings, just do what those of us in perma-wardec'd corps do, and get a Jita alt. A little bit of training (use a plex to get dual training if you dont' want to pause it on your main), and you've got a pilot who can buy things in Jita and ship them anywhere in the galaxy for you.
