o7, I wanted to just post a few words today on a very shocking situation that I have just seen today. The marmite collective has just recently wardeced us, on unknown term for no apparent reason.

Now you may be thinking, why is this dude posting that he got wardeced by these guys, it is the aspect. We were under their protection program, and seeing as they had a lot of hard wars on their side, told them that we are dropping the contract for some time until they get back on their feet. No hard words were exchanged, gave him a thank you for the service and told him I'll be in touch soon.

Now as this happens, like only a week later we have a wardec. Everyone knows that you never dec a client because he decided to drop it, that's just stupid and pathetic. I wanted to get this post out because the marmites have plenty of clients that think they are getting a good service. This is false, they will stab you in the back just because they get 'angry' at some random thing and break all the rules that a merc lives by.

Be very careful on this, I would hate for you to get attacked and betrayed by someone you thought was honorable, I sure did.

Thank you for your time,

Night

P.S Here is the link to the wars if anyone is interested

If you stay out of the Amarr => Jita pipe you have literally nothing to worry about.

Paying for protection, that's pathetic.

You make it sound like getting war dec'd is a "Bad Thing". Roll

From my perspective, as soon as a contract is completed, the client is fair game. We have a few particularly good clients who we won't dec, but they are the rare exception.

A little birdy tells me that you withdrew the war with Marmite! That makes your point of a failcascade a bit moot.

From all the rageposting you do in any thread where someone mentions Marmite, I think it's safe to assume you are the one who's feelings have been hurt Smile

To the OP:

Let me get this right;
- your corp is about to be wardecced.
- you PAY one of the best hisec merc groups for protection.
- you benefit from this action, since you don't get roflstomped anymore.
- You break contract (inspired by the great fantast Vegas, based on all his fairy tales about camping marmites in Big smile)
- You are suprised that your actions have consequences and that Vegas lied to you
- you cry on the forums...

There is an easy way out in any case, you've done it before, time to do it again!

I thought he payed Marmites, not "one of the best hisec merc groups"... I am confused. What?

Play EvE how you want to play it and do not let others dictate how you play. Evolve your playstyle to protect yourself from others! Even in "PVE", "PVP" is there, lurking in the shadows.

Two questions:

1.) Why do you think mercenaries have rules?

2.) Why would you think Marmite are mercenaries?

You're getting it wrong.
Marmite is running a "we'll help if you if you get decced" program, if you pay a monthly fee, then decced a client.

The tears this Danalee guy is producing on an hourly basis in C&P is making Marmite look much much weaker than its current rank of " Sleeping Kitten" . Boolsheeto needs to reign this fool in as he is making Marmite look even worse than it is.

Marmite is dying, we all know that but Boolsheeto should send out a mandatory youtube vid to their Mailing list 'The Marmite Collective' ... Cypress Hill - I Ain't going out like that.

Ooooh... so now that all the lies have been found out, all your carefully laid plans have proven impotent at best and all your forum warrioring got stomped by yours truly you cry to Tora to try and make me go away....
I'm producing tears allright, yours to be precise.

Sad little peon - to keep quoting Cypress hill - You must be insane in the brain.

I know it would be bad for us if we did in fact break any contract, the OP stated himself what happened;
Now you may be thinking, why is this dude posting that he got wardeced by these guys, it is the aspect.
