He sat next to the Vulture for like 2 mins , didn't even try and bump him out?
Im confused as he went nearly 2km/s to get to him then sat with no webs or any tackle on his Claymore?

it certainly would have been epic. bump the vulture to tie the points, blap one frigate and win when the clock runs out

The only thing I could think of is Garmon may have been scared of violating the boundary himself. If he bumped the Vulture but ended up going out too, there would have been no point.

That makes even less sense, they would loose anyway?.........He needed to just bump the ship out and even if he went out at least he tried.

looked like the vulture started coming back in and to the side, the claymore probably wouldn't have had a good angle coming in and I'm not sure, but with him being webbed he probably wouldn't have gone far anyway, and if he turned it off the vulture probably would have only gone slightly off course.

That's my guess anyway.

You make a valid point, good Sir or Madam.

He would not have been able to. It is a BC trying to bump another BC. The vulture would had to have been RIGHT on the edge to go over with a bump.

Thanks for the explaination Warfire.......It just looked strange that he flew in so fast and then just sat there.

Hard to say why, but it looked to me like he wanted to end it with a 1v1, just the two of them, but not enough time.

His chances to successfully bump him were very small. Also, he probably thought that he night be able to kill the Vulture, as it was going down and only started boosting late in the duel, kind of bait-tanking.

Dancuul1001 was awesome enough to stop at 115km, so no way a Claymore could have bumped him 10km with him being a moving still at a 115km orbit on the beacon.

Get on TQ or SISi and try to bump a vulture with a claymore.... It doesn't exactly move it super far.. And that's assuming you CAN manage to bump it, I really doubt the vulture would give up all transversal and allow himself to get epicbumped

Actually I just looked back at the replay, he does try to bump it when he charges up, but Dancul moves out of the way.

Even assuming the vulture just sat there and let him bump it out it would have taken minimum of 3-4 run ups to get him outside the boundary which he just didn't have time for.

There was the chance that PL had gone with the assumption "no one shoots the brick tank first" and under-tanked the vulture so it made more sense to try and dps it down in the time remaining.
