Going out with a bang. Congrats! Best tourney yet. Everything was solid. Definitely raised the bar over the previous years

When I lost interest in Eve, the Alliance Tournament was what dragged me back in. That was almost four years ago, and I've been having a blast ever since.

I respect your decision to pass the torch while the fire is hot. Thanks for all the great tournaments!

Thanks everyone, you've all been fantastic!

As to the reason I'm leaving the Alliance Tournament (not CCP!): I've done it for so many years it's time for someone else to try and do something new. I'm a big believer of letting go of things and it feels like with the new influx of great tournament people, the timing couldn't have been better.

Realistically, I could probably have kept on going for a few years, but I think it's a great time to move on while on top, than wait for things to go downhill.

Anyway, thanks everyone!

Oh God....Please not Michaell Bolton III.....(aka CCP whatever his name is now)....Shocked

o7 Soundwave, great work these past Alliance Tournaments and I think you made the right decision to step down while on top :). Will be interesting to see who takes up the mantle!

You're not "old" enough to yield the position to someone "younger".
The only reason I see for this is that you've got promoted and now during the casts you're gonna sit in a big boss chair and tell other people what to do <_<
Don't be such a lazy scum! Don't leave us with Michael Bolton!

It actually reminds me of funny ingame situations which took place around 2006-2007. At the time fully T2 fitted fleet battleships were the pwz0rz but they required quite some time to train. So as soon as a player got enough experience in flying newbie friendly support ships like inties or dictors - he had to wtich to the recently trained battleship and all of sudden the total lack of decent tacklers and bubbles on enemy fleet appeared Big smile at least for some time, till the next "generation" got trained.
