Multiboxing softwares ruining pvp

If you cant afford a second account you are either new or bad at eve. In either case you can read the forums for advice and become good at eve. And then you can PLEX as many accounts as you want.

I have a newborn baby and a full time job and still have the time to do it, and haven't spent a penny of my own money on this game in years, literally. I chose to quit using MB software and still can do it.

Zero excuses.

If you really need ISK and have 2 accounts I hear Darth Nefarious' Armor fleet is hiring.

I know the current EULA allows ISBoxer under the click duplication label (which was originally just protecting keyboard/mouse macros that didn't make a major impact on gameplay), but honestly, the current state of things is pretty ridiculous.

ISBoxer w/ 5+ accounts is such a huge advantage over alt tabbing and manual control, it's pretty silly.

It's just going to get worse as ISBoxer adds more and more features.

Luckily I'm a trader so I don't have to deal with this BS (although we traders have to deal with tools of a different sort).

Macro =/= duplicator.

Keyboard and mouse macros are allowed as long as they don't automate play. Explained seperately from ISBoxer by CCP.

Neither Macros nor duplication software is banned if it does not cause you to get higher up on the foodchain quicker.

Just curious,

Aside from the larger initial investment, how does it not allow you to get higher up the foodchain quicker?

If I start 5 new accounts and use them to blitz missions while skilling up, won't I unlock higher level missions earlier? Once all are properly skilled, won't I be able to alpha nearly anything subcap in the time it takes for me to skill up once (assuming they are all running the same attributes and mirrored queues)?

How is that not getting up the foodchain quicker?

You pay 15 bucks a month (or whatever option you choose) per account. You are subject to be alpha'd while in your noob ships. You have to fit each ship so while making the money so you will be spending 5 x the money. you don't get 5x the rewards for completing a mission with 5 characters. Once you get to end game for missioning (in this case) you don't compete the mission 5x faster. You can kill anything in 5 volleys with 1 ship, so you cant just take 5 ships and all shoot the same target.

Again, diminishing returns aren't just an in game issue.

Anyone is subject to be alpha'd in their noob ships.

Initial investment of PLEX will solve spending 5x as much on 5x fits initially. Assuming that my losses are minimal and I treat 4 of the 5 accounts as parasitic twins, I am gathering money faster on the 1 "primary" character than I would if they didn't have the parasitic twins. I could just be running the missions while waiting for all 5 to be trained appropriately for Alpha Tornadoes.

Once I get the Alpha Tornadoes, I stop running missions and start PvPing. It takes me the amount of time to train for the Alpha Tornadoes once, to have a small gang of 5 Alpha Tornadoes with which to "solo" any unsuspecting sucker I can find.

I fail to see what $15/month has to do with my question unless you're saying that I am allowed to have my 4 parasitic twins because I am paying cash for each account. If this is the case, why isn't it ok for a botter to pay cash for each bot they want to run?

Another qualm this raises in my mind is how does this not make Eve Pay2Win?
