Hi plex nerds (and other non plex nerd lurkers)

What is the minimum probe strength required to successfully find a 10/10 ?

Well, from the DSP charts I've seen, the hardest sigs in all securities are about the same. From that I would guess somewhere in the 65-70 range. I'm not positive though.

No idea what the exact figures are but my scanner alt with sll skills to 4 using a rigged helios with sister's probes can lock them down with little trouble.

If you have the probing subsystem on a T3, Electronics Subsystems 4, and probing skills to 3; you should be able to lock them down with no rigs at all.

Level 4 scanning skills and a heron with sisters core probes and rigs are able to scan them down. Once you get your skills up, its more about how you scan, because you should be able to scan them.

Not specifying which standards those materials are required to adhere to will end up being a recipe for disaster when the supplier attempts to fleece you (just like those Jita scammers selling Remote Armor Repair systems instead of Medium Armor Repairers!)

As for the scanning, scanning them down is doable with signal strength in the upper 60s as mxzf said
