Enabling Session Change Timer

I've been googling this for half an hour, and have asked twice in chat, and can't seem to find an answer.

According to anything I've been able to find online, you should be able to set the game to show your Session-Change Timer from the Options menu's General Settings tab. I'm not seeing that option anywhere. I'm also not seeing anything to indicate that the option has been removed from the game. The ONLY thing I've found that gives ANY indication of why I'm not seeing it, was a post by someone else somewhere (I have thus far been unable to find it again.) stating that they can't find the option on their Windows 7 install, but they have the option on their Linux install.

If anyone has any information about this situation, I would greatly appreciate the assistance.

AFAIK it was removed in Odyssey, but it use to be there. You're not crazy.

Funny, I've been looking for the exact same thing today... It turns out that the option is gone, however: The session change timer is now always shown (in the top-left corner of your screen). From what I've read it used to be 30 seconds, nowadays it's only about 5 seconds or something. The time you are being cloaked after jumping through a gate however still is 30 seconds but sadly enough there is no timer for this event.
