Is it normal to get scammed by The Mittani, Chairman of CSM ???

CCP, this guy made an abuse using his CSM Chairman position to scam me. I dunno if it breaks EULA or so. But that's what he did.


How did he abuse his position? According to the chat log you didn't even know he was CSM. So it had absoutely no bearing on you trusting him or not.
You just got scammed, you're crying like a baby, and trying to find any way to justify why it is everyone else's fault, except your own.

I don't always like posts, but when I do I post about it. This pretty much sums up this entire episode, if we are to assume that the alleged form of events are accurate.

I've fought NOIR. Two weeks of twiddling thumbs in station, and trolling in local to see who hired them(already knew, just would have loved the confirmation), was a gigantic suck fest. The previous mercs, were fun to fight, and I have much respect for the DUTY players that have since moved on.

I've fought with PL, when they were defending their system.

I'm fairly confident, that given the choice of the two merc groups, THAT I KNOW, that go into nullsec, I'd choose NOIR. They may not take your system. They may not cause the alliance to fall, but I'm pretty sure, they would cause a fair amount of aggravation. If I had the isk to toss away, to get even with being stupid enough to be scammed and spend pages and pages demanding my isk back from a Goon, I'd spend it with NOIR. Just to get the satisfaction of knowing, the next couple weeks will be a pita.

NOIR. is smart enough to figure out how. They do their research.

I personally do not see why either one is a worthwhile use of money. Unless you can do enough damage to the entity as a whole as to generate widespread hardship—a goal that seems entirely out of the reach of present mercenaries with regards to a major nullsec entity—then what exactly is the point? You've generated fun for the mercenaries and for their targets, but you have not generated any content for yourself; instead, you have just thrown money away for no gain.


Your also not the one, that was so ticked off at loosing isk, to post TWO threads in the forums about it. I figure if your gonna obsess about it, and you have the isk, might as well hire someone who can really tick em off.

A player in the game long enough to legitimately amass 20B would not conduct a transaction as cluelessly as you did.

So I suspect you didn't blow 20B internet space money. I suspect you blew $800 real dollars on mummy's credit card.

You need to get past the denial and realise it was your fault and your fault alone.

Next time, don't 'pay to win'. Or in this case, 'pay to lose'.

I think my favorite part, is how completely alone the OP is on this. Absolutely everyone in EVE agrees he's an idiot for not doing a few seconds of research, on the very least on faking chat logs if indeed these allegations are fake.

And why is it that everyone else thinks this idiot deserved to lose his isk? Because that's what this damn community is about, taking responsibility for your own damn mistakes. You lost 20B isk. Oh well, bad day for you, now **** off.

It is fabulous but in a very sad way.

I still got no answer for this : Why do the CSM guys have CSM on their avatar ? I do understand why GM's have GM written on their avatar, so you know he/she is a GAME MASTER ! So when a GM says anything, you listen cos he may have something important/interesting to say.

Why do I see CSM on a guy if he's got nothing to say ? On the contrary, he's a scammer, liar and proud of it ?

Why does he get to go to Iceland, to set a camp fire and tell CCP who and how he scammed people in game using his CSM text on his avatar ???

CCP and GM's : I do know it's a game where scams are allowed but this kind of scam is not acceptable. What if tomorrow a GM scams you? Why not, they do play the game sometimes, they can enjoy it as everyone else, right ? Then what next ?

Think of some kind of contracts that can be made for ships that cannot dock. What if Chribba, Darknesss and Wirox die tomorrow? We will never trade big ships cos we can't trust anyone else !

Remove the mittani scumbag from CSM, gives a bad name to whatever Council that is.

They have them there so you can bring opinions to them if you so choose too. They can if they so choose relay the feed back to CCP if it falls within there platform.

As for altering the way they play the game every competent player knows that those Characters still live by the same rules as everyone else and the rest loose 20bil because they did not take the 5 min to find out what that tag means.

Basically it is your fault you did not do the research and no one else.
