People become veterans when they become jaded, angry, and tell "back in my day" stories.

Things are only impossible until they are not.

when people say that ship used to look good then CCP remodelled it

At the point when you realize, fundamentally, that this is not a game of grind or NPCs... but rather one where you defeat other players to get ahead and cut your teeth, you're a vet in my book. That simple realization is all it takes. You might figure that out in 3 months.... or it may take years. When you realize that you're a real player and vet in my book.

Nobody gets rich with their stupid spreadsheet.

You get rich and start getting ahead when you start taking it from other players.

That's it. Big smile

Mmmm i'd rather go for '' people who played before we had T2 , or before mining barges , before warp to 0 , before stacking penalty or or ...

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

When you hold down the bunker alone facing 16 Al-Quieda soilders running through all ammuntion, including grenades and then resorting to throwing the machine gun stand at the on-coming foes screaming like a banshee and frothing at the mouth.

Easy - however there are two answers here

So in Eve, when you can fly 95% of all craft in various permutations and don't miss the bacon

On the forums, when you have been:

ragequit twice.

I am aware of my own ignorance and have checked my emotional quotient - thanks for asking

That's a really hard call and extremely subjective. Personally, I'd say anyone 2006 or older, as anyone who was around back then will be able to share my definition of small gang PvP (i.e. small gang is "2-5 ships", not "20"), since it was around 2007 when EVE's population began massively expanding, and quantity became the meta of choice, replacing quality. See: old school Burn Eden for an example of how it used to work.

Disclaimer: I've been around since 2004 and have achieved bittervet status.

When you remember a time before Jita 4-4 and when Battleships and Interceptors were serious business.
