just a shame that your opinion is wrong.

Its not wrong, its what i consider a bot and what the software does.
To bad there are people like you who are not proper informed on what the software does.

I consider you to be a complete moron, if you really knew what the software was about, you wouldn't make the claim above.

No point in trying to have a discussion who right away goes for insulting people, if you can not have a normal discussion and at least try to proof me wrong in a normal way the dont even bother.

I could of course explain to you the reason why the software is a botting tool, but seeing as you clearly can't have a normal discussion on a forum i don't see a reason to.

I am not insulting you. I am calling you a moron because of a moronic statement that you made that hinges on being dangerously ignorant.

Your definition of a normal conversation is one where everyone basically have the same opinion as you, otherwise you'll just mope about the person not being "proper informed" like you just did with Dave Stark. And that, my friend, is not how a normal conversation work.

Then let him control 30 accounts without a 3rd party software, let me see how human he can be.

Using these multiboxing softwares basically questioning if we can talk about EVE, or any other MMO, as an MMO. (which means massively multiPLAYER online)

By allowing multiboxing software people extra motivated to get several accounts.
After some time more people will do the same which in turn increases the amount of subscriptions, which is good news to give to the investors.

So unless alot of people get fed up with allowing this 3rd party software ( which is a botting tool in my oppinion ) and ccp losses more subscriptions because of it then they gain they will not ban it.

I'm not sure if these softwares are considered as bots 100%, but I'm sure they are pretty close.

here's how CCP considers a software as "bot software": do they automate anything thru exploits or without the control of human? no? then it's ok, if not banhammer.

ISboxer and whaterver else multiboxing software, as long as doesn't have any sort of macro and requires a human to be constantly at a keyboard is not a botting software.

Multi-boxing software isn't botting software, although it can be misused for botting. In the same way that a carving knife isn't a murder weapon, until you use it as one.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

as far as I know, ISBoxer is made by an eve player (altho not just for EVE), and he is a staunch anti-botter, afaik.

Indeed, it's the innerspace framework that can be used for botting, but in the ISboxer implementation it's used purely for multiboxing.

Back in the day I used to fight some russians for control of a .. 6/10 I think it was?

I had my mach solo, they had their gang. *sigh* Those were the days.

But yeah, multi-account b.s. does degrade the quality of Eve.

It's not even about playing solo, I just think it was a better game when the vast vast majority of people just had their one character and maybe an alt and no one even heard of multi-boxing.

There should be some limitation I think. Maybe 2 characters simultaneously acting in universe at a time?

But there would be no way to enforce this with current technology that I can think of. Not without screwing up multiple people who happen to sit behind one public IP.

So... can't beat em? Join em? Meh, if you want. I'd say just get some friends and gang up on him. Even if he out numbers you he won't be able to out play you. No matter how good a multiboxer is, him w/ 3 characters should never be able to beat 3 separate semi-competent players. Gangmates 4twj

Better PC? pay to win.
Faster internet? pay to win.
Dual monitors? pay to win.

Your 2 accounts?

You guessed it. Pay to win.

ISBoxer is pay software with a free trial AND completely free competitors. FREE. The only pay to win in that is the multiple accounts.

Would love to see the cost of your ship, ammo, plex, modules, and minerals if they nixed every industry alt.

I think you should be ashamed, because of not reading and understanding everything , and barking.

That 4 account "fleet" was just an example, hes usually using 15-20 accounts at the same time.

And ofc if you have better things to do, do your better things instead of insulting me.

Please do explain. You have 2 accounts he has 20. Anyone with 3, 4, or more that knows how to use em can completely blob you and own you. So your situation is relevant to 20 using accounts multiboxing software how exactly?

Can I use a 5 account "fleet" as an example?

What about 5 player fleet?

A 5 player fleet is different, coz it's player controlled, every single ship.

I don't have any problem with that.

A 5 player fleet also outperforms the multiboxed fleet in every way. The solution here is for you to make friends.

I can run 7 accounts on a single computer just the same as you run 2 accounts. No need for any extra software. Can run a fleet easy in WHs to do sites.
So I wonder how you have decided that the other play has been using any software?
Any why do you think that the fact that he out-did you makes you any more "less game breaking" when using 2 accounts at the same time?

So you got beaten to the cake. Grow up.
