What you guys think about the changes?

Lower web range and resistances will make cap escalations a bit more challenging.

Boosters orbiting POS shield propably won't make a difference.

The way we run sites, this hardly changes anything at all.

i calculated the webbing range of a standard loki is going down like 4 kilometers 53 to 49

i could care less, but not going to protest it
its OP as hell anyway

just need to keep an eye on your booster i suppose, or have it orbit a deathstar / be somewhere in a safe

it doesn't really do much to us, i'm not that concerned

the local rep changes are the most intriguing. 15% boost also applies to Capital reppers & it sound's like boosts will affect cap modules too.

edit: every1 and their basset hound will be using Eos for cap escalations, regular pve and pvp.

My archon will repair EVERYTHING.

I also like the idea of faction mindlinks and multiple bonuses on command ships and t3's. My 6-link loki will become quite powerful... though the force field change means I might still have to rethink the fit.

Me and my corp are a bunch incompetent PvPers and have never used an OGB for anything Oops

Probably the reason for our kill board being worse than a farming corp (At least we try dammit)

however I really like that local rep boost. I personaly like too run active tanks on my ship so maybe my personal luck might turn around with that extra 15% Big smile

The changes dont really affect offgrid boosting from what I could see. My loki will still be neigh unscannable.

Only thing that will change is the 6-link fits since you can't make those unscannable.

On the other hand, there will now be multiple bonuses from ship and mindlinks, so the temptation will still be there. I really don't know if I should switch to a 3 link covert loki or go all out with both bonused armour and bonused skirmish links on the same ship.

Its impossible to make a mobile 6 link hard to scan setup for i.e. roaming null but you can do 5 and probably even 6 link setups that are hard to scan for sitting in space boosting a PVE fleet, etc. - just need to use the right implants and one of the links has to be the sig reduction link.

command ships are looking sweet hot :)
nice that we'll actually have something to fly after T3s get ruined.

Yup...we can transition for T3 blobs to command ship blobs.

It will be glorious!

Sure the boost amount of warfare links got nerfed and the expected t3 boost nerfs.

But there are many beneficial things:

Capital Reps will now receive bonus from all defensive mind links.

Capital Reps all receive a 15% boost from local rep changes.

Navy mindlinks that boost 2 types of warfare links (YAY no more having to got out to hs to switch clones!)

Mindlinks supply increases and is much cheaper (good for miners who no longer have pay a billion for their mindlinks)

Command ships and T3s now boost multiple types of warfare links.

Field command ships get full t2 resists they deserve.

I have commandship 5 on many of my characters so, if T3 get nerfed to oblivion, I will know what to fly next.

After these changes, will anyone even use t3's for command links?
It sounds cheaper just to use a few extra chars in command ships... .
And indeed, wormhole pvp doctrine will now switch to t2 commands ships if t3's ever get nerfed, many were already used(amarr versions comes to mind as often used) because of the similar stats... .

Will active tanking be an option in w-space with these changes? I hope so, we need more options anyway!

No local in null sec would fix everything!

Having been locked in the dungeon of work for the past few weeks I haven't been able to fiddle with them much at all. Mind explaining why this will be the case?

They will have bonus for both Armour and Skirmish links. So they will just replace the loki/legion booster

i think its a very good change and i welcome it. as i predicted T3s will still be useful in some situations but command ship is better as it should be
