Multiboxing softwares ruining pvp

Hi!

I know there are some topics about these softwares on the forums, but in those topics the player's problems was related to pve, as far as I saw.

My problem is related to pvp and multiboxing softwares.

Let me tell you an example:

I was trying to do a sansha 6/10 with my alt, but the guy who uses one of these softwares was on local, tried to probe me down a few times, and a bit later he probed down the complex, and started to do it with a vigilant, a loki, and 2 guardians, all alone.

Now tell me, what the hell can I do about that, with my main, and with my combat alt?? What if he brings more dps, or more guardians, because he can, he has like 15-20 accs, and he can control all at the same time.

On the other hand, I wouldn't care if a 10 man gang would steal the complex I'm doing, because they can, it can happen.



Before you start trolling:

I know this is crying and I should do the same, because CCP allows it, and I know I should quit eve and bla bla bla.

I don't care about all of this.

I'm plaiying EVE for almost 3 years now, for me EVE is about pvp (and for many other players), my priority is pvp, I don't care if someone can make money alone with 20 accs, or 50 accs, or 100 accs, I really don't give a damn.

But CCP, don't give someone a huge advantage by allowing him to control a full fleet of combat ships with a few clicks, because IT IS RUINING THE GAME.

And really, don't tell me to do the same. What if I don't have the hardware for this, or I don't have the money to buy the hardware? Will I be discriminated?

And of course I know, I should take it as it was a gang of players, not one player... But it was one player.


I know you want to kill solo, and small gang pvp, but come on... Should I have to organise a 50 man gang to kill 1 guy???

And I know CCP, you allow multiboxing softwares, because more multiboxers = more accounts = more money for you. This is how most companies think, but hey... I think you should think it twice what worth more...

Edit: AFAIK ISBoxer is not free. Is there a good, free alternative?

You don't need multiboxing software to control 4 ships, 2 of which are logistics. Good old alt-tab does that just fine.

The solution to your problem is called Falcon. Jam one Guardian and kill the vigilant before it can kill your falcon.

I dont use isboxer and have 4 accounts running at the same time

2 pc's 4 21 monitors.

TBH he may not be using a isboxer as its not that difficult to look after 4 running at once. However I would be worried to the fact he has 2 guardians so if you do attack him its gonna need some serious dps to break there reps.

Multiboxing PVPers are bad mkay? Won't be the first time stuff goes boom because a dude didn't see his logi cap out, lost his reps, and died. The solution? Bring as many actual people as he has accounts into an actual, organized fleet. Relish the thought that every kill you make is a financial loss for 1 single dude.

EDIT: Yeah agreed, multiboxing in and of itself is meh. But it's legal, it's not going away, so adapt or die counts here as well.

Dude, i'm sorry but i do not share your opinion.
Furthermore, if you ever get unlucky enough that i will buy ten accounts,
i will gladly make you the first person to get ganked by my personal fleet of thrashers.

And then everybody else.


We all now multiboxing is kind of bad ... but why should only PvE'rs profit from it ?
Instead, we need to level the playing field. Everybody should have ten accounts or more.

THE CARNAGE WOULD BE GLORIOUS !!

I see you guys don't really understand what I mean.

Yes, you can look after 4 clients if you have 4 monitor.

But what if I go into the complex with a dps ship, and with a falcon?

He will undock 4 more dps ships, and 6 more guardians, and don't tell me he has 15 monitors, and he can take care of 15 clients.

If someone can buy, and use multiboxing software, then EVE will become a pay to win game, which is sad in my opinion with a 10 year history behind EVE.

If someone runs 15 accounts then well, I'd just let them get on with it. Evidently it matters a lot more to them than it does to me lol.

There's a reason people who use multibox software have every character flying the same ship. You can't fly different ships with different fittings using that software, all it does is replicate mouse clicks across various clients, when you click on the first high slot every ship has the first high slot activated when you lock something all ships lock that something, so if he was using this software his gaurdians would be repping the same exact rats his vigilant and loki were shooting. If it was one person he was playing four different instances of the game at the same time. This is quite possible if you have a machine that can handle 4 windowed instances of the game at the same time. I used to do it to rat in anoms as well, its not easy but it pays well. Now go cry about being out played somewhere else.

And what if hes controlling 3 accounts, but one of those accounts is being copied? Like he has to control 2 dps ships, and 1 guardian, but actually he has 8 guardians. It's all the same...
