patch issue after patch issue

SInce I came back less than a month ago EVERY. SINGLE. PATCH. I have had the same problem; launcher wants to patch, patches ( I think), then ..launcher wants to update...and again..and again.

If I try using ExeFile.exe I get an exception error.

The ONLY way I have found to stop this after patching is to run the repair tool again EVERY SINGLE PATCH.

This is really starting to aggravate me. Although the time taken is small it's the fact that I have to at all - it's akin to having to repair a puncture on your bike every single week - or more. Two years ago when I last played patches came through flawlessly, no issues at all that I'm aware of.

Something is broken and needs looking at - I submitted a ticket the 1st time it happened and I was supposed to have been referred to technical after being given this workaround so that I might be able to give them information.

So far no-one from technical has contacted me regarding this and once again, patch day - same issue.

support ticket have been deactivated by ccp, because of support platform migration (or maybe because too many bugs in odyssey?).

so far, the only way to be heard is from the forum, and most of the time, they don't come here so....good luck!

i suggest you join an already opened thread about launcher issue, you might have more chance to find a solution there
