So Im flying a faction fitted maelstrom, doing some L4s.

A frigate comes by, starts stealing loot and salvaging my stuff.
At first I just ignore him, when he touched several BS loots I started shooting him, since he was a pirate for me, tagged as an outlaw.

30 secs later he warps in with his t3 bs, starts shooting me. no concord comes.

how in the hell he is allowed to shoot me?

Imagine you interrupt a bankrobbery by knocking out the criminal, suddenly you become a criminal too by doing the right thing.

those game mechanics ruin the game.

im uninstalling right now.

good bye eve.

he stole from you.

you shot him.

by shooting him you give him the opportunity to defend himself.

he killed you good.

Working at intended. Remember if you shoot someone, you give them the right to shoot you back.

You aggressed the character not the ship when you shot at him. You can shoot the robbers during a bank robbery but they can also shoot you back there or a another bystander. Why the cops dont like local heros sometimes. Can get themselves shot or another person hurt.

Logic of EVE is that everybody have right to defend themselfs when attacked.
You have right to protect your stuff (thats why you could shoot him without concord intervention) but when you shoot somebody, who ever it was, he can defend itself (attack you back for 15mins)

well next time dont shoot the thief. everything goes both ways in eve. if someone is stealing from you go back and get a bigger ship or a better pvp ship.

Also, shooting someone is not typically an appropriate response to petty theft. What?

I am more wondering about this:

To benefit the EVE community at large, a small change has been made to game mechanics in regarding criminal flags and how they are inherited in high security space. If a pilot is remote repairing, or otherwise assisting, another pilot who commits a criminal act then the repair module will now disengage. In order to continue repairs the module will need to be restarted and a message will appear warning of the criminal flag and possible consequences.

Since a war isn't a criminal act but a Concord sanctioned action between 2 entities in EVE the remote repping with an alt in that case is handled how?
Also if it does flag them now, does that mean they also get an agression timer? If not then no use really because you can remote rep and dock up right away as it was already.

A tad more explenation about the new mechanics would be handy. I am sure I can find a way then to avoid certain concequences.

Explained by others so no need to repeat. I do have a suggestion. Stay. Nobody cares what you do. I would suggest learning from the experience, seak vengence, set a trap, move on, whatever.... Just enjoy the game. Hell, utilize the tactic yourself and ruin somebody elses day.

good bye eve.

You fly faction fit (suggesting a reasonable time in Eve) and you lose because you agress a flipper?

People like you give even carebears a bad name. In fact you make Goons look smart in comparison.
