I find most of the time I spend 2 hours or more just trying to kill NPCs inside the mission.

I also stopped using drones since they keep getting blown up.

Any advice on killing NPCs faster in level 4 Caldari Navy missions?

Am I able to link fits in here?

I would change the mid slots to 100MN Afterburner, Heavy Cap Booster II, 800s, X-L Booster II, 3 active hardeners, optionally Shield Booste Amp or Painter depending on what you can squeeze in there.

Lows you should be able to get 4 BCS in there although you might need a co-pro II

Drones: 5 Hobgoblin II and 5 Hammerhead II

Apart from that T2 cruise are really alot better now, your missile support skills may need some polish, Caldari BS V is nice as well.

TBH the rigs should really be missile damage and with a heavy cap booster you don't need the CCCs.

Some stuff to think about and you could always ask in Missions and Complexes.

I rarely use EFT and couldn't see an option to export to text file so I sent the fit to EVE and mailed it to you. HTH

I can't use the T2 launchers but with the same launchers I'm using, it says I get the same DPS.

Drones get aggro from rats very easy -- try using the target painter on the rats before sending drones in because that keeps the rats' attention focused more on you and they will beat on your drones less. When you see your drones getting beat up, pull them back into the drone bay.

Things will go faster if you use drones -- every little bit of extra damage helps!

Bad fit.

Lows: You want at least 3 BCU II, preferably 4. I recommend a Signal Amp too (meta 4 will do).

Mids: Heavy Cap booster with 800 charges (buy the BPO and build your own at the mission station, they are a PITA to haul, but only require Industry 1 to build from reprocessed mission scrap) and X-Large Shield Booster (faction is a lot easier to fit). NO OTHER CAPACITOR MODULES OR CAPACITOR RIGS, 100 MN afterburner (optionally a Micro Jump Drive), and hardeners as required for the mission.

Rigs: 2x Rigor and 1x Flare.

The only time I take damage is when I warp-in and get auto-aggro. I pull that group with me as I move to a range of 105 km (jump drive makes this trivial), at which point only Angels can get close to you with an afterburner active. When the room is half clear, start moving towards the next gate, so you arrive at it when the last NPC is destroyed.

Kill order: anything that webs -> destroyers (one volley) -> battlecruisers (2 volleys) -> battleships -> cruisers -> frigates

Light and medium drones for anything that gets within drone range (typically elite frigates and spider drones).

Make sure to use the right type of missiles for the mission: http://eve-survival.org/wikka.php?wakka=MissionReports

One other point. Not every mission requires you to kill everything to complete it. There are many missions where you can "blitz" the mission. This means skip killing everything and go straight to the objective. Most mission write ups available on eve mission survival or other mission web sites related to eve have descriptions on how to blitz thru most missions without killing everything.

Some mission, of course, do require you to kill all. But probably 2/3 of them do not.

Now you may want to kill all just to get the bounties and loot. But if you want to complete it for standings or loyalty point accumulation you can blitz thru some of the ones you may be having a hard time completing.

Could also perhaps upgrade to a Raven Navy Issue and have that extra weapon slot for all the more damage Big smile

Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person."

Some general advice

Know your missions (I assume you use mission reports).
1) Only run the missions you like. Take advantage of the fact that you can decline one.
2) Only do as much or as little as you need to in order to complete the mission. Blitz when you can / when you want to.

Know your weakness and concentrate your training and fitting fixing the issue.
1) If it takes too long to kill a BS NPC then work on your DPS
2) If it takes a long time because you are frequently warping out work on your tank
Be selective with your training go for the easy options. BS V is a great skill to have for a Raven but it is a long one. In the same time it would take you to train it up you could have many of the missile skills and shield skills to IV.

Reinvest your isk (loot, bounties LP). Just up to the point where you can comfortably run the mission.
1) Buy implants (tank or dps)
2) Use faction Ammo when you need a boost
3) Buy faction modules e.g. Navy launchers
4) Buy a faction boat e.g. Navy Raven
