Goat Face!

Is there any way to change the shape or your avatar's face and bodyUgh after creation? I can change my clothes and a few other things, but that's it. Ugh

You can try petitioning it and asking really nicely. Often you'll get a nice GM who'll throw a recustomisation your way.

Note that you can only ever petition this once per account.

Be certain you dislike your goat face that much.

In one case, I had an alt with eyes that looked perpetually surprised like she'd been goosed. I petitioned, but found I couldn't get rid of the look, as the in-game avatar doesn't adopt the characteristics (expressions) of the portrait avatar. I found that changing the colour of her eyes to something darker was all I needed to do, and I didn't need to petition for that.

Also try messing around with the position you take the image from and lighting. You'd be amazed how ugly this char can look. OMG the chin! Seriously, on one shot I took it looked like you could ski on the bloody thing.

Call me a nostalgic... call me sentimental. But I still miss the old "dude, your face"/ faceless facebook avatar rendering glitch. That's the kind of god-given face you might want to petition about. Smile

First, couple of clarifications:


  • Re-customization - Option available to you in any station, allowing you to alter make-up, hair colour, tattoos and clothes to name a few things. Usually just minor cosmetic changes. You can select NeX store items to display on your character with this option.
  • Re-sculpting - Option currently only available to you at character creation. This includes everything available in re-customization (except for NeX store items). Plus you can alter the bone structure and weight of your character. This will also set the "default" look you will get when clone jumping and so forth. NeX store items can not be selected or used when re-sculpting.


Generally speaking we (customer support) very amenable to assist you with fixing up your avatar's face. If you have just made your portrait and made a mistake or if you are a long lost player returning and hastily mashed your face together, send us a petition and we'll see what we can do to help you. Also, if you have had technical difficulties with the character creator in the past and are only now seeing the true horror you have wrought on your poor digital representation, we will be helping you.

Petitioning for a re-sculpt just to chase the latest fashion trends or whatever will be kindly turned away. P
