My suggestion is to not trust anyone unless you can drive over to their house and punch them in the face and only then if you are physically capable of kicking the crap out of them

The Mittani, I petitioned you, it should be there in game logs anyway so you better give the isk. If not, I hope CCP can investigate and see if Amara Jade was involved or not in the scam and reimburse me.

I can't imagine how you feel, I have never even seen 3 billion isk, but I would get sick to my stomach if I even lost one.

But I really don't see them fixing this. It's happened over and over, and is a legitimate part of the game. There is NO ONE you can trust implicitly in this game. If you understand that and believe it, you cannot honestly petition the scam.

Next time wait for Chribba to log in.

If you have the bil to buy the ship, you have the time in the game to know, do not trust goons. You have the time in the game to know, that Chribba is the 3rd party you trust. You also know darn well, that scams, theft, betrayal, griefing, are an integral part of the game.

I am just going to remind the jury that the facts of this case have not been conclusively established.

Heh not really. While it might seem that I'm "on your side", I don't like scamming one bit. I appreciate it that the game makes it possible to do so and that there are no reprecussions by CCP in doing so, but that's about as far as I go. Have other plans once I leave the uni.

The scammers in my alliance are actually a minority by far - most Goons make their ISK through other avenues. You just have to be fairly thick-skinned, that's all.

Reading what Thrawn he has to say on the matter, I can safely come to the conclusion that he in-fact can not kick the crap out of The Mittani.

But if a 8 year old ever steals from him and his mommy doesn't help him then he has a real fighting chance. Like 40%.

I peg his age around 33 BTW.

What happened to the old days when disagreements like this could of been solved by pistol duels? Those are far more entertaining than 99% of our "entertainment" we have today. Either way, I propose a cease to useless (although funny) forum ranting and settle this in game with a frigate duel to the death, like proper internet space ship pilots.

Any CSM member, no matter who he or she ma be, is bound by the EULA and ToS (as any other player is) and by the NDA that they signed when they took office. Send the isk

Since CCP is not gonna help you at all and in fact will be laughing at you come morning I just have to ask...

Or what?

Things are simple : If a CSM does this to a CCP customer, than I have several questions :

What is CSM?
What is CSM doing for me ?
What is CCP doing to keep me paying for this game? Laugh at me? Is it true? So I pay CCP to laugh at me?
I don't feel like laughing right now. But I can stop paying for my 8 accounts. That's all I can do.

A CSM is a PLAYER voted in by other PLAYERS that jabber at CCP on YOUR BEHALF. Think of it this way. CCP is college bueracracy. A CSM is a student voted in by other drunk students to sit on a student council. Doesn't mean they still can't throw drunken frat parties.

You wanna get back at him, get more billions of isk and hire NOIR.

As much as I love Alekseyev Karde and especially love the anime upon which his corporation is themed, I do not believe that Noir. Mercenary Group is more capable than Pandemic Legion and the entirety of the New North to deal damage to Goonswarm Federation. They would definitely be very annoying to have harassing the clueless newbies, but so far as actually causing harm to strategic assets or threatening the livelihood of the coalition they simply lack the firepower to do it. Pandemic Legion and its coalition of the New North made a very respectable push into VFK-IV this past summer, but this merely demonstrated that when one disturbs the hive one summons literally thousands of angry little bees—when news of the attempted head shot was transmitted to the Something Awful thread, hundreds of goons resubscribed their lapsed accounts for the sole purpose of reinforcing the defence of our sacred homeland.

I've fought NOIR. Two weeks of twiddling thumbs in station, and trolling in local to see who hired them(already knew, just would have loved the confirmation), was a gigantic suck fest. The previous mercs, were fun to fight, and I have much respect for the DUTY players that have since moved on.

I've fought with PL, when they were defending their system.

I'm fairly confident, that given the choice of the two merc groups, THAT I KNOW, that go into nullsec, I'd choose NOIR. They may not take your system. They may not cause the alliance to fall, but I'm pretty sure, they would cause a fair amount of aggravation. If I had the isk to toss away, to get even with being stupid enough to be scammed and spend pages and pages demanding my isk back from a Goon, I'd spend it with NOIR. Just to get the satisfaction of knowing, the next couple weeks will be a pita.

NOIR. is smart enough to figure out how. They do their research.

I personally do not see why either one is a worthwhile use of money. Unless you can do enough damage to the entity as a whole as to generate widespread hardship—a goal that seems entirely out of the reach of present mercenaries with regards to a major nullsec entity—then what exactly is the point? You've generated fun for the mercenaries and for their targets, but you have not generated any content for yourself; instead, you have just thrown money away for no gain.
