What do you guys think about linking reprocessing mods to mining skills.

I think reprocessing mods should be tied to mining skills. The better your skils in mining are the better the output of the reprocessing is. From being barely anythign with no mining skills to max output with maxed mining skills.

Just link a main ore to a mineral and the amount of minerals you'd get would increase with the ore processing skill. You would get more trit per mod reprocessed the higher your veldspar mining processing skill is, you wouldn't get any morphite until you had the merc reprocessing skill, etc.

Would this lead to an increase in isk to miners while not really affecting the price of minerals? Or just reduce the income ganied from mission runners for a little while until they trainned the specifics skills to make as much isk as they used to?

My intent with this change would be put more isk in miners wallets while not bankrupting the mission runners. I would think that the amount of isk made from reprocessing mission loot wouldn't be the largest portion of isk earned from missions so reducing it wouldn't be that much of an issue.

It already is. Look at the prerequisites for Scrapmetal Processing. Well, refining at least.

Why mine when all you need is Scrapmetal Processing? Lol

The only thing that might need to happen is to change the formulas so that:

- Scrapmetal Processing makes a much bigger difference.

- There should probably be a hard limit 5% waste from reprocessing (95% efficient at the maximum).

In a 50% refinery, having Refine V, Refine Eff V gets you to 99.5% reprocessing, and any points in Scrapmetal Processing only get you that last 0.5% waste. Given the Metallurgy V pre-requisite, maybe Scrapmetal Processing needs to be made more powerful.

Maybe you can only get 85% back if you reprocess without Scrapmetal Processing at a 50% station and every point in Scrapmetal Processing takes that up by 2% per level (to a max of 95%).

Thats kinda my point why mine when reprocessing gives such a large amount of minerals. if reprocessing mission loot is more tied to mining maybe the miners might get more isk, making being a miner more profitable while not causing any big ripples in the economy.

Just a thought
