I multi tasks a lot. Below are a list of things I do in order of boredom levels required.

Stream Pandora's drum and base channel.
Chat with people in game.
Check eve-kill for barge and exhumer kills and add gankers to my standings.
Watch Eve vids on youtube.
Troll the forums

You can now accurately gauge how bored I must be now that I am replying to this post :)

When I mine, I'm usually doing it as a way to allay fears while I passive target and scan a Mackinaw or Hulk that's on the grid and checking if they have a permit and the required pledge of support for James 315 in their bio.

Then the Venture keeps mining a suspicious 2km away from the marked target while I alt-tab to the main, overheat guns, turn on sensor boosters, and set safety to red.

Conveniently, the Venture has room for two salvage drones and the loot from the destroyed catalyst, plus an ore hold large enough to carry a good half of the ore that typically drops following a Mackinaw euthanization.

I'm actually on an op near Jita at the moment. Or at least I will be once I get home from work. 4j out, run a locator agent on me if you want.

If you don't want me bothering you, a pledge of support for James 315 in your bio is sufficient, unless you appear to be a bot. I don't usually bother to check permit compliance, just assuming that anyone with the pledge is Code compliant unless proven otherwise.

Of course, I reserve the right to carry out for-profit ganks that are not New Order operations if I encounter an exhumer with a high value in deadspace modules or faction mining upgrades on it. If I see your exhumer and think 'blowing that up will offer loot worth losing a Talos for', then you can bet I'll do just that.

Oh man, EOH? Thanks for letting me know about that! Me? I usually go on evestockexchange.com probably made about 300mil isk there in the last 3 days ive been registered. evealopolous.com is a good gambling corp, especially now that they have free slot machines. Netflix is good, and for some reason mining in space always seems better while doing it to the fallout soundtrack!

Watch local and update market orders.

Run your empire remotely.

Semi-AFK is pointless. Twisted

If you have an empire like that, why are you bothering with peasant work like mining?

That's what useful idiots are for.

I am not really AFK in that on the big rig the miners are a stripping and on the laptop to my right I have old TV shows or cartoons going, that way they don't demand my full attention either. Currently working through the old Logan's Run Series, and the Original Gatchaman. I am watching my D-Scan and strip timers while watching G-1 hand Bird Katsu his a$$.
