Is 250 too low? could we perhaps have say 1000?

Gets a bit tiresome trying to find less important bookmarks that are still essential ( JBs/POSs ) to delete.....


What do you guys think?

I do support the idea (whoever had the original thread open) that more bookmarks are needed along with:


  • Folders within Folders for both Personal and Corp Bookmarks
  • Alliance Bookmarks
  • Fleet Bookmarks...perhaps. I'm undecided but I think why the hell not.
  • The ability to make bookmarks by right-clicking in space.
  • The ability to edit\remove bookmarks by right-clicking in space

Along with that up the limit on the number of contacts you can add both Personal and Corp.

Let's see if we can't get some interest in this thread and it's not about the number of likes it's about getting the community involved. I don't often see ideas with pages and pages of replies which says more to how popular\unpopular an idea is but that the community has engaged over it and that, IMO, intrigues the Devs\GM's etc more.

agreed, also, more fittings, i'm sick having to delete / import fitting from the xml, i do fit shittones of ships for less experienced corpmate, and i don't want them all to be in corp fitting for various reasons.

why don't the personnal fittings and bookmark couldn't be stored locally in xml? it's not for the size of it, i got more than 200 fittings in a xml and it's not even 5mb....

Agreed:

  • More Corp Bookmarks
  • NESTED Bookmarks. (folders within folders) <- Please!
  • Alphabetical listing of folders in the save dropdown
    • ....currently this is such a pain when trying to find the right folder to put a BM into
  • Allow more than 5 BMs to be moved(/copied) to cargo at once
  • Copy Bookmarks
    • ....SHIFT-Drag BM to cargo copies BM, instead of removing it from your personal folder.
    ....Currently you can do this with corp bookmarks but not personal

    IMHO, for what it's worth, these things are broke. I am sure there are 1000 other ideas that could be implemented but these appear to be simple quick fixes that would make the usability of this feature so much easier without wasting a lot of resources with a revamp.

    My wish list contains but a single, but probably complicated option:
  • Visible in space
    • ....Similar to the way the Close Map works
    ....Hotkey to turn on/off
    ....On Grid only??
    ....Fleet visibility??
    ....Appear on the Overview? (Gonna catch flack for this one)

    The CFC has over 150 JBs, to Bookmark each one both sides, that's 300 BMs gone.... and were already into a 50 BM Debt...


    Perhaps having Alliance Bookmarks - 1000. I'm not sure on why CCP has a limit on BMs but there are a lot less alliances that would be saving 500 + BMs....

    This leaves corps with the option of having insta undocks etc for corp uses.
