Applying patch stuck at 3/4

My eve Launcher is stuck at "3/4): APPLYING EVE_ONLINE_575759-575759_WIN.PATCH: 100.0%"

I've tried running the repair tool, restarting etc, any ideas on how to get this working?

Don't worry your not the only one.. mine was stuck at 78.5% for ages so tried to cancel and its just sat there.. can't close it and abit hesitant about forcing it via task manager..

What to do about the updater being stuck? is it safe to close?

not "mad bro" but i don't know what i should do and if closing the frozen updater will cause corruption in my eve files...


might need to turn my computer off sometime today

I ended up deleting re-installing eve, it's a pain but did the trick.
